Hi,
Hey, as you can tell I am new here... Don't know what to do... But I do have extensive voice training in both music and radio, so would love to help out with the sound are of this project. I also have training in the production areas of sound both live and recorded. Anyhoo... I'll just stand here until someone tells me what to do...

I recommend you to show some samples of your work. We use showcases for that. You show what you can -> you get promoted -> you can work on TR stuff.
May I ask what did you do at the radio? I have some radio experience too and I'm curious

PoHa: I know! we'll shoot an Aro at them
Aro: you have only one Aro missile!
PoHa: yes, but its heat seeking and quite possibly indestructible

Yeah,
I was a DJ, although DJing is a lot different now then it used to be. I never got really really far into radio before I moved on to other things, but I did weekends and evenings for an FM music station. I also learned production and other things such as how to balance logs, stuff that only really matters for radio. I worked at a network so I got a lot of experience using VLC to keep track of our other computers and using carts to keep everything running smooth. I was kind of the do everything that the engineer doesn't do kinda guy...
So about these showcases. Do I just start a thread saying its a showcase, or do I go somewhere specific?

to to the showcase forum and post a thread for yourself with some samples of your work i also highly, highly advise you to get familiar with how oblivion and morrowind handle sound, especially voice acting.

Nice. Did you work with some radio specific broadcasting systems like the RCS stuff or the D'accord?
Heh, I am pretty much the same. I worked on a mixer, actually controlling what the radio broadcasts. I did talk hosting, I did music shows, interviews, radio news, etc, pretty much all of what you can do at the radio Except producing. I also stayed out of the stuff like generating everyday playlists and managing the rules of music selection.

Hmm, more here then I thought there was going to be. I will be the first to admit that I have absolutely no experience in modding a game. But thanks for all the advice, I will see what I can do about this showcase shindig. You guys are very helpful.
