Here's what it'll look like when it's not flying (we're still discussing in the IRC how exactly this will work, but we're fairly sure it will involve scripting). There are 4 separate animations in the video, with the first being almost motionless (it moves a tiny bit, but you can't tell unless you're close), and the next three being various fidgets it will play at random.

Finished the take off and fly idle animations, both shown in the attached video. The wings are a little awkward but it'll probably look okay ingame. If not, I'll try and put some sort of blur mesh in there eventually.

Sorry about not existing for the past few months, life dragged me to school for a while. I'm actually not sure how to export the animations I have so far into a kf (I have the exporter but I forget how to use the animation feature), but I'll at least hop on the irc and work on it without being non-existent

EDIT: Just thought I'd attach the latest two videos of attack animations. If you'll notice the claim is updated with my .max file, since I can't seem to export it due to Morrowind not being installed inside my VM (and a friend has my disks).

I never got an email from you, but I'm not dead. I went to school and have had lots of other things to deal with. Like I've said in the past-- I don't die, just disappear for long periods of time.

When we last left off, I was trying to get a Morrowind disk so I could install it in my VM so the exporter would work. I recently obtained the disk, and I'm ready to start again; also, the mibbit says I'm banned and xchat doesn't connect...

That is an incredibly strange bug that has appeared recently. (people randomly being banned despite not being on the ban list) Try connecting again.

I've never had any trouble with XChat2, when did you try and connect and what exactly did it say?

I'm using XChat2, and it just won't connect. I think it's my school's firewall.

yeah-- I hope you don't interpret my extremely slow work the wrong way-- the reason I'm taking ages is because I simply don't work on it very often because of the fact that the model isn't high priority. I've actually been using it as a test model for my game engine lately though, so it's far from the back of my mind. Btw, if any of you want to add me on steam or skype so you can remind me more often my steam is super__llama (two underscores) and my skype is super.llama. I'm always happy to work on the Skyrender or any model, it's just that it's never seemed very important. Hope that makes sense

It should. Also yes, I disappeared again, and no, it's not because I don't care or have died. I'm easily distracted and there are things that I work on where people do remind me often (Runecraft, Gravity Hulls, Game Engine), so other stuff just falls by the wayside.

Again, steam or skype would make it easier for me to stay available.

The username is in fact "super__llama" like I said before, but maybe steam changed the way you look up friends, I don't know. I added the URL to it this time. Right now the main setback for this project is the fact that I don't have my morrowind exporter working and I'm currently enrolled with 18 credit hours in college so my free time is limited
