GameFlood, a division of TurboSquid, recently held a $25,000 total contest with several captions. ($3,000 cash & prizes to 1st place of each caption)

Tamriel Rebuilt entered the caption of 'best RPG mod' with our Map 1 mod and won! The mod not only garnered twice the points as the second place mod (Oblivion's Natural Environments by Max_Tael), but was also chosen as best by the judging panel!

A cash prize & Logitech keyboard worth a total of $3000 was awarded to the TR Team, and we are happy to announce that it will ALL go to our wonderful webmaster, garfield! For almost half a decade, he has provided a server and websites for Tamriel Rebuilt and its members free of charge, and we're glad to be able to pay him back a hundredfold!

Hopefully we can bend his arm a little and call the money and keyboard an incentive for upgrading our forums to phpBB3 and/or updating our website. (which you all know is in a very dire need of help!)

More on that later. For now we celebrate and thank the hundreds of people who have helped TR get to where it is today. Feel left out? Want to work with an award-winning, solid, structured yet creative and fluid team? Come on and join the party! With mods for both Morrowind and Oblivion, we've got something for everyone!

at any rate, congrats guys every single one of you. The work that has been put into the project is phenomenal and everyone of you great modders deserves to have those 3k. I too would like to extend a special thanks to all the by-gone modders of my childhood (and before). Without you we would not have all that we have today, and you helped to build the foundation upon which we now stand. Granted, much has changed since those early days of Tamriel Rebuilt, but without that at times troubled childhood we would have nothing. Tamriel Rebuilt has changed hundreds -- if no thousands -- of lives , may it change many more!!!
