So far I have downloaded the TR mods & master/data files onto my Morrowind Game CD, I believe all i have to do now is to manually put TR and PT bsas on the morrowind ini under the archives section then i save and exit. But when i do that it tells "the file doesn't have permission" so after looking around for solutions I think its because morrowind is a older game and something to do with program files from what it said. The problem is since im new to PC modding and PC in general I don't know where or how to reinstall morrowind besides using the bethesda program files. So is there another way i can safely bypass this and if i can what are the steps? The questions I have are is this mod compatible with the windows 10? like does it run good on it or does it run better with a older windows? I would be really grateful if someone were to help me solve this issue im having and answer the questions with the best of their knowledge please and thank you. If there's anything else you want to ask me about the issue go ahead and ask, i'll see what I can do on my end.

i've tried watching tutorials on youtube on how to select an installation destination but many people on the comments were saying its 'Dangerous" and it wrecks your computer now im not sure if I want to risk it especially if i don't know what i'll be doing half of the time. So im wondering if thats really true now....

Hi there, this happens if your Windows account doesn't have sufficient user rights. In this case you can simply save the Morrowind.ini to your desktop and afterwards move that file back into your game directory and overwrite the old Morrowind.ini.
