I apologize in advance if this has been addressed already (I tried searching the forums first and couldn't find anything). I just installed TR for the first time and everything as far as I can tell works fine except npc voices are missing. No passive greetings from guards, no active spoken dialogue, etc. I tried going through the files to see if anything was corrupted or missing, as I didn't receive any error messages in-game, but no luck.
Any thoughts? Going to uninstall and reinstall later tonight, but thought I'd throw this out there prior to doing so to see if anyone had any ideas.

Tamriel Rebuilt doesn't add a lot of custom voice-over sounds. Out the top of my head only the Necrom and Almas Thirr ordinators have custom lines. All the rest should be original Morrowind greetings.

Oh yeah, I'm sorry. Not custom voices. Just the stock voices. They just don't work in the game. There is no audio for them. The lips move, etc, but no dialgue is vocalized. Passive or active.

Well I'm not sure it is a TR related problem. Never encountered this myself. Are you sure that Tamriel data BSA is registered and the ESM files (Mainland, data etc) are high in the load order?
Other than that it could be another mod causing problems? Do you have a big modded game?

Naa, only mod is TR. BSA registered and I have the load order as laid out in the walkthrough video (had to use that wyremesh thing to adjust the order). I've been playing now with the voice bug for about ten hours and i haven't come across any other issues that lead me to believe it's TR, as that content appears to be fine in-game. So it may just need a reinstall. I'll probably give it a go this weekend. Thanks for the input!

Good to hear you solved it. Never heard of this bug before. Maybe some files got corrupted somehow.
