No one is answering, so I thought I would ask here. Not sure if this is the right forum location, but I do kind of need a little help.
I have a model I want to use, but it at its largest is still smaller than the other ones like it.
How do I increase the size of models for a mod?

You could use blender or nifskope to make a new mesh, I suppose. Which model is this, exactly?

The easiest way is with Nifskope. After you open a mesh simply right click it in the 3D view and then there’s an option scale under transform or something similar. To double its size simly enter 2.0 for all axis. If it consists of several parts you have to select and repeat it for each one.

It is called Namira-Statue1. It came from Morrowind Modding History. And was the first thing I ever downloaded that was just the .Nif file. Nothing more.

I did try Nifscope as Ragox said….and it did not work well.
The hands, head, and hair separated from the main body. Though I will add that it successfully grew the model. The hands went to the left of the body, while the head and hair went striaght up above it.
Here is the link to the statue I found. It really is a pretty cool statue.

EDIT: I did find a bit of success, when I clicked optimize/combine shapes. Everything is now sizing properly but the hair sits just above the head. Still working it out.
EDIT II: Figured this out! Thank you guys for your help and pointing me in the right direction! Always a great group on here :D

No problem, I’m happy to hear you got it to work out the way you wanted.

That’s quite the lovely statue indeed, we could even use that one in our mod for some Daedric shrine. I don’t think that we already have a statue of Namira, but I could be wrong. I know that we have her spiders at least.

Assuming you mean Tamriel Rebuilt, I think the only non-vanilla Daedric statue we’d really be interested in is one of Mephala. We technically have one that works, but I personally would prefer a different look, though that’s pretty much lowest priority. Namira was not worshipped or particularly valued by the Chimer and would probably have had no shrines built to her in the province.

This is off-topic, but should Mephala have statues devoted to him? I felt like the absence of a statue in vanilla seemed quite intentional.

The current model is definitely rather underwhelming in any case, but are TR bad enough dudes to model the unmodellable?
