Meeting Notes

During the meeting, we systematically went through section files to determine what work needs to be done before the next release.

TR_Mainland

Assets: Riverstrider eggs are in progress, which can be placed along Lake Andaram’s coast whenever they’re merged.
Exteriors: Some work is being done on Roa Dyr (some pieces are missing which will be added back in). Various road, terrain, riverbed, etc. work around Aanthirin are underway.
Interiors: There will be some edits to Khalaan (new models, etc.)
Quests: Several quest additions are pending review. “Brother Against Brother” is MVP for DOD, and should take priority. “Drinking, Stealing, Ranting” is a showcase quest that’s been merged into Mainland, it needs another dialogue pass. Mainland IAS members need faction assignment. “Blight Watch” is still claimed by Kevaar. Changes have been discussed to be made to the interior and quest, and should be discussed with her.

Imperial Telvannis Overhaul

Assets: The retextures for the chapel windows still need to be finished. The college and ZBC hall merge will still need to be made. Rats is working on the minimum necessary Pyandonean Isles assets for the missions and Orgnum’s Coffer.
Exteriors: Mostly done, the finishing touches can be carried out after merging into Mainland.
Interiors: About 6-8 interior refits still need to go up. 4 ITO interiors are still in development.
Quests: Firewatch NPCing is a work in progress. Helnim and Althoa (northern island) are pending NPCing. Quest claims need to be opened up.

Firemoth

The compatibility patch for the original Firemoth still needs to be made.
Assets: A unique Ward of Akavir artifact is needed.
Exteriors: Broken objects should be replaced with activators so the fort can be fixed. The grotto entrance added in the interior still needs a door.
Interiors: Ruined interiors are pending review, afterwards the fixed interiors will need to be made. 
Quests: One of the questlines is waiting on the ruined interiors to pass review, the other for the fixed interiors.

Olanar

Assets: Rats is working on the assets needed for this (Maormer stuff).
Exteriors: Exterior is finished and ready for merging.
Interiors: All ints are in development.
Quests: NPCing and quest claims can go up after interiors are finished and merged.

Roryn’s Bluff

Assets: T’ka Pod should be used in RR. Bodrum needs a dedicated bridge asset.
Exteriors: The exterior rework is still underway. Some cells should be merged into the file from SVM to expand the Pryai river towards Marahk-Bazhul. This also requires terrain work in the area to make the slope of the Velothis more gradual.
Interiors: The Fort Ancylis refit is still in development.
Quests: Bodrum dialogue update is still WIP. After the revision claim is merged, the section needs a dialogue pass. Do not merge quest claims before that is carried out. The sprawling Teyn dungeon has been replaced with a new, smaller one but the related quests still have to be dealt with.

Armun Ashlands

Assets: The Baluath crossbow artifact still needs to be made. Unique environmental assets would be nice to differentiate it from Vanilla ashlands, like ashland flora, termite mounds, ash larvae (Dune ref: sandtrout), whatever works.
Exteriors: Pretty much done. Just needs more detailing (e.g. around Barzamthuand) and some location exteriors are almost done being reworked. Molag Amur assets have to be switched out with Ashlands/Armun assets.
Interiors: Interiors need to be checked for missing pathgrids.
Quests: Some interiors still need NPCs: Ghundabalit Egg Mine (vampires), Mashanuad (a smugglers' cave at the southern border of AA), Naarshamsi, Shan-Ahhe, Nurshadit, Kurhu (bandit cave w/ shop)

Southern Velothi Mountains

Assets: Pine tree replacer should be finished (Gnomey will still experiment with the textures, but the models can be merged), along with landscape/rock textures. Rock texture replacements along the region border have to be carefully considered, as AA is using RM rocks by design.
Exteriors: The northern parts have to be raised up for the Pryai expansion. Some southern cells need more work.
Interiors: Mostly done.
Quests: Waiting on ext+int implementation for NPCs, otherwise quest-ready.

Thirr Valley

Assets: Mushroom redo, Othmura round manor, new road texture, region sounds, more lotus variants with longer stems, dreugh citadel set, OW trees.
Exteriors: Ud Hleryn is in progress (with its additional cells). TV will need some exterior coordination work to iron out the section, e.g riverbed, cliffs, northeastern parts (a detailed discussion of what needs to be fixed up will still be needed). TV07 still needs to be worked on.
Interiors: Hlan Oek sewers need to be redone in the new sewer set. Merged interiors (mostly dungeons) will need to be looked over again to remove weirdness. Beyond that, there are still plenty of interiors that will need to be made.
Quests: Some quests are already in development. Design claims for NPCing+dialogue should be created whenever cities become interior-complete. Note that the Hlan Oek Zenithar presence still needs discussion as per the meeting agenda.

Shipal-Shin

Assets: Cave interior assets are still in development. An undetermined amount of custom and merged building for Narsis. Maybe some flora for the Argonian side of the border. Possible assets for the RSM (rename still pending). Various armour sets. Sand kwoom, finishing the sharai hopper, other creatures if possible.
Exteriors: Four exterior claims (including Narsis) are still in development, and the exterior will still need a (small) border matching and consistency pass after they’re completed.
Interiors: A lot of claims are still awaiting the cave assets, and there are a bunch of other claims (notably Narsis interiors) that will still need to be put up further down the line.
Quests: Not applicable.
