Here you can see an example of how I envision Dres clan symbols: Relatively simple, bold Dunmer-style brushwork with complex symbolism. That symbol is a Skyrender reflected on nectar, and also represents a Daedric tower, among other things.
That is quite complex, but don't we need to flesh out, give more character to the varoius Dres clans first, so we can better reflect what they're about in their clan symbols? How deep does the interraction, lore go, the player encounters about the different Dres clans anyway? One simple example clan "x" is known to value hard work and thus yield the most Chap'thil, their symbol reflects that by showing multiple hands pulling a rope, symbolizing how everyone in their clan pulls on the same string.
Some sketches for possible wisewoman, patriarch masks:
Nice! Though somehow they remind me of Stormtroopers. I wonder if a light gray and white camouflaged pattern would be used to break up their outline when hunting on the Salt Flats would help, or maybe just more straps/belts/decoration on the bonemold? Like little clan motifs on the shin-guards and breastplate.
Great suggestions thanks! Will try to incorporate them when I come back.
Fun fact by the way: Concerning stormtroopers, Micheal Kirkbride, once asked about, how he had those amazing ideas for Redoran armor, replied that he shamelessly 'copied' Star Wars especially stormtroopers and Boba Fett. ;-)
Edit: Added camopattern and other little improvements.
I'm actually not sure if the Dres should use much hide; I suppose they do have the 'tiger' guars, but to me textiles, saltstrap (which would probably be the main leather substitute) and other plant matter and shells seem like they'd be the main materials for clothing and armour.
Thanks for the feedback, will incorporate that. Shells like bug shells right?
I have an additional question; the way I drew the Chap'thil clothing here, shows that it is very purpose oriented, that being, protecting them somewhat from the noxoius fumes that a saltstorm can contain, so it would be quite different from normal civilian Dres clothing, which can also have finely woven garments from trade and the like. Am I heading down a correct path by portraying them like this?
Yes, I meant more bug shells, though they would generally be used in the sense of armour. That said, if there are any other sort of shells you think might fit it wouldn't be bad to play around with them; in general, anything sturdy in the environment could potentially be used.
Your designs are spot-on as far as I'm concerned. There is a distinction to be made between Chap-thil in the Salt Marsh, which is more humid and gets more chlorine clouds, as opposed to Chap-thil in the Deshaan Plains, which does probably have strong, dry, salty winds and tends to be very hot, but in general mostly has clear weather; Chap-thil of the Deshaan Plains could perhaps have more billow-y -- but still strudy -- clothing, and their hands and face don't need to be completely covered. It could also be a bit more showy as opposed to the heavy visual functionality of the Salt Marsh outfits.
It would probably also be good to have some more explicitly armoured outfits, with bits of chitin and bonemold.
But I absolutely think the concepts you already made can migrate over to the asset browser.

I believe Mr. Willis is working on the clans. We have the names for them, but not much lore beyond that.

Ah okay, thank you very much Kevaar, I'll try to read a bit up on it, and maybe hit up Mr.Willis, if he has additional lore.

Love the masks though!

The concept art for this Deshaan thorn bush has an interesting idea for a Clan Symbol:
