Hello, I've been on a morrowind kick lately and have been reading up on TR's work. I thought I'd draw some stuff for the Dres setting.

1. Sload airship at a Dres city.
2. Detail of airship
3. Fallen crates and debris from sky-port, and a rough city layout.
4. Dres slavehunters. Guy in the back has a man-catching staff.
5. Dres watchman. I like the idea of the creepy "predator" helmet being worn as a hat

I really lile your concept art. Especially the slavers. Even though morrowind is one of my favourite games i dont know all the lore as much as id like so I cant judge on your sload ships. Everything still look amazing though. Keep up the great art.

Amazing concepts tesseract!
I really like the sload airship looks very cool. Someone in the old forums mentioned another idea about sload using some sort of dead monsterwhale who's being repurposed as a ship through necromancy, maybe it could be combined with your design?
I also like the idea of dres helmets being worn in a casual way sometimes.

Thanks folks

Tbh I know almost nothing about the sload airships besides that they supposedly exist. I think it could be great to have one as part of a major Dres city (Tear?).

About the undead whale aspect...the one I drew COULD be built around and into a necromantically preseved giant sunfish (mola mola) perhaps? Or maybe the exterior is made up of sections of undead whale-flesh? Kind of dubious but freaky enough for the Sload.

Speaking of necromancy I imagined the ship could be crewed by a skeleton crew (ha ha) dressed up in clothes to fool onlookers. One could have a quest involving an Ordinator/Temple character trying to obtain a telescope to get proof of the Sload's necromancy?

Ateiggaer I'm impressed with the costume designs you posted. The off-white/grey/blue vs pale yellow Deshaan color palette is new for Morrowind and I really like it.

1. Another view of that airship from yesterday
2. Sload with clothes... Maybe he's a clothier afraid of getting robbed? Based that face off the one in the Morrowind artbook
3. Authentic human crewmember. Alive, of course :)

Yeah sunfish does also work of course, it just has to be a really big fish.
The undead crew is a super nice idea and would be very fitting for Morrowinds whackiness and so is the Sload with clothes.
Is that an ape-like mask I'm seeing on that skeleton? That'd be hilarious!

Thanks! The contrast was exactly what I was going for with those designs. (:

I know the Telvanni regions rework is way in the future but i was in the mood to draw the mushroom city.

1. Port Telvannis, the ancient, magically-maintained mushroom "roof" dominates the landscape. People inhabit parts of the stalk and, more recently, the top of the cap. This "great tower" has its own ecosystem, and various insects make their nests in its high regions.
2. A view from below the great tower. Commoners have set up nets below the walkways around the inn, to catch the clumsy.
3. The great tower grows mycelium veils of great scale, used by the Telvanni as building material. After periods of rainfall, mage-workers try frantically to direct and control the fast-growing veil and keep it from draping itself over the lower city.
4. A high-ranking Telvanni retainer in their travel outfit.

@Ateiggaer the skeleton's mask was supposed to be a poorly executed human face, that could maybe fool those looking from far away.

Awesome art! I heared that TR wanna use an idea about giant old netches in Telvanni lands that become part of landscape you know like this fish but you know, netches http://az.lib.ru/img/e/ershow_p_p/text_0020/ershov5_116.jpg

@Biboran, what about a giant Netch that floates? So you have to levitate to get to the city.

@tesseract, I really like the clothing of the Telvanni retainer, looks very nice!

Yeah, maybe. Or it's tentacles sloverly accrete with surface. And there mushroom towers on top of netch.

It be very cool if someone make concept art of it.
