Will these forums remain online? I know a lot of the older links on these forums are broken because whatever they were linked to lost their funding and vaporized into the ether. I'm full on board for the move; just want to know if it's worth spending time trying to back up old threads or if you're g...

Thirr Vale?

Thirr Valley?

Thirr Heartlands?

Thirr Basin?

Middle Thirr is fine too, just want to throw out other options.

Is this the product of the testing of new stuff?

Because it seems like half-trolling, half-testing, and it's what comes up on Google as opposed to the normal forums.

I'm afraid that if you make CHIM too-explicit within a questline, if you feature it that heavily, then you ruin the magic of CHIM. CHIM is the root question behind EVERYTHING in the game, but as virtue of that, it cannot hold more relevance in one Great House plotline than another - doing so would s...

If that's the case, why does Tiber seem to have player choice in the same way the Tribunal do? Tiber caused a Dragon Break and remade Cyrodiil from hot, steaming jungles into fantasy England version 1004x.

One could argue that Lorkhan acts quite a bit differently from the other Elnofey ancestors.

For that reason, Firewatch even more so needs to be in contest during a House Telvanni take-over quest – they may not be interested in the Vales of Mephala and the Inlet Bog, but anything in the Boethian Mountains, the Molagreahd, the Telvanni Isles, the Nebet Bay, Azura's Coast, the Grazelan...

Firewatch is a sort of Imperial guard on whatever happens on Vvardenfell. Close enough to be a base of action from which the Imperials can launch a campaign to stop Dagoth/capture the Heart of Lorkhan/Anumidium, but far enough way that if New Ebonheart and their other holdings on Vvardenfell fall to...

Mournhold does sound like the Imperial name for the city, rather than the Dunmeri version. Would it be too far out of line to swap the names? Make Almalexia the upper citadel (High Fane of the Mother, Godsreach, Kingsreach, Moon & Star, etc) as per Sload's design, and Mournhold the lower city (a...

Query: what's the status of the Dwemer Lighthouse and its implications for the Seyda Neen Lighthouse (which in lore is supposed to be the main source of light and guidance on the Inner Sea)? If the Dwemer Lighthouse outshines Seyda Neen (without modding, I know there are a ton of mods for Seyda Neen...

Especially if we've decided that Septim's Gate is by Narsis, that would make sense. I expect, however, that there would be a complex Blades network in Hlaalu lands too. The purpose would be quite different than dealing with the potential invasion; it might instead be focused on managing Hlaalu. I kn...

I got it from the UESP's page on Morrowind:Slavery, which isn't canon, and I'm not sure where they got it from. So there's that, too. But as Telvayn says, I do wonder if Caldera Mining Company is actually a Hlaalu Corporation subsidary with an Imperial Charter for mining. In any case, it seems the B...

Hlaalu may or may not support Imperial troops moving through their territory: last I heard, Othreleth Woods were controlled by the Cammona Tong, who REALLY don't like the Empire. In addition, the main route would either be through Narsis and the Shipal-Shin by way of Septim's Gate, or through Shadow...

Yeah, that's why I asked. The words of the Armistice seems to refer specifically to the Dunmer of Morrowind (and thus excluding Dunmer outside of Morrowind and possibly other peoples in Morrowind), and Caldera Mine seemed to get away with it through the Hlaalu-Imperial cooperation. But the Telvanni ...

Gotcha. The districts really are a non-issue in that case, since they were drawn by the Imperials in the past. I assume the up-in-the-airness is the same reason why Lake Boethia has ceased to exist on Swiftcloak's maps (and as far back as the maps from last summer, at least, when the Telvanni Isles ...

Query: Do we have a name for the "Shroomcoast" of Telvannis yet? Also, why again should Mournhold not end at the Thirr? I realise at one point the Indoril influence was much larger, but the river is such a natural boundary line it's a bit surprising to see so much consensus on moving the M...

It was just a thought. It's good to explore these angles. Looking at that map, it really doesn't make sense to have the Rift Pass up near Soluthis, but rather put it by Kogotél like in Swiftcloak's inaccurate but still-useful map. What's the harm with cutting out Solstheim, putting it farther away, and just leaving the space where it was with open waters, maybe adding more watery elements? Eventually, Telvannis is going to be blown apart, so the "too much effort" argument seems a bit excuse-y.

Biboran, one thing you might take note is that Skyrim HotN existed in development from before TESV: Skyrim was ever even teased, so while TESV has had some more recent design influences upon HotN, they've taken many areas in a completely different direction.
