Ohh very nice.

What are you and eyeball looking to do? Last I saw Prom had a New York thing going. Definitely want to get involved in that...any and all references that could possibly be needed.

OMG where?!

Well, it depends how you play, you can rush through oblivion fairly easily too. I walk everywhere, scrounge and explore, get lost and I'm several hundred hours into my char and I haven't even been near a good half of the map.

Money this time could go to something similar resource-wise, maybe full speedtree libraries?

Or we could just give it to Garf again, the first time probably didn't even come close to making up for our bandwidth costs.

Fallout 3 is way more than oblivion with guns. Sure it's a simple way to describe it, but it's made leaps and bounds over oblivion.

Well, it's not impossible to do in a game, but to do it in this game engine convincingly would take alot. Dunes "shifting" could be done by having the dunes as statics, that are enabled and disabled at random via script. Maybe in the same vein as the gates to oblivion that semi-randomly ap...

Yeah, almost exactly like the Oblivion CS, but tailored to fallout. A bit more powerful too, new scripting functions etc. Very very capable, with enough effort it could essentially handle almost anything one could want to make with a single player game. And the game has a decent ammount of non-scorc...

Tear was made partially by Yinnie, then worked on by Kothloth, then they never finished it, and that's when we decided to scrap the Dres set. Later on Dexter claimed it, and like a year later posted some shots, mostly of the slums and a little bit of the residential area. The current files, along w...

Also, I think something designed around canton 3 would look really nice if hidden away in a forest of some sort. With the treetops around the edge as this one little hole in the forest difficult to see from outside.

Here's a little brainstorming on my part: Personally I like the idea of smaller cantons and having some regular city planning around it. I picture Tear like that, a bunch of small cantons with some space in between them, with lower class buildings and markets taking up the actual ground level cluste...

I love the third design! It reminds me of the old dunmeri fortresses (perhaps a colorscheme of those forts might be suitable for dres?)

How do you think putting the doorway on the second floor and having stairs up to some sort of patio would look for middle class structures?

Actually according to TIL their color is grey. Also reading on TIL regarding vampires, it is supposed to be rumor that their council is composed of vampires. So when we get to the point of dialogue, it should go in there somewhere instead of actual characters being vampires.

yikes X2 - It makes sense because of [historical, geographical, sociological fact.] Actually that is quite a good reason in that we're trying to follow established lore, and where we make new lore, have it blend in naturally to be as indistinguishable as possible from bethesda lore. The checkpoint wall and city sketch looks pretty fitting. Not ornate like almalexia, unwelcoming and we can do cantons like the city drawing instead of full sized vivec/molag mar cantons. The towers are a little reminiscent of the old old dres design blended with velothi. I'd remove the bug wings ov...

When the news came that Kemillith Torom, Peliah's husband-to-be, had been found outside of a canton, his head on a spike some feet away, she did not have to pretend to grieve. Her father knew she did not want to marry him. From the story. So yes, Tear has cantons. So perhaps a velothi/canton style ...

Looks cool, but too much of a direct mashup of velothi + daedric. Take a look at the redguard comic, the show a dres area (and presumably a dres settlement) with lots of insectiod stuff and tents. Perhaps two less comprehensive sets? A rural bug+hut like style akin to ashlanders, but more "civi...

JFK sucks, but at least its runways are long enough. La Guardia (*cough*) has the shortest runways of a major airport. The landing gear dips into the water on takeoff!
