Is there something else that's critical texture-wise besides matching the edges and removing the river?

Back to having some free time for this summer... might as well get this claim all finished and set aright.

Also, is it OK to leave the waterfall pool and just take out the attached river? The monastery would look rather boring without it.

When I open the file I uploaded in the CS, the interiors look all there. The only thing I changed was to fill in an area in the sanctuary that looked open with a TR_in_nec_p_hall. Looking at it now, that spot was supposed to connect with the great hall area, but also had missing doors. At no point w...

Try reinstalling TR_Data? One of the versions had that problem, but installing the newest version seemed to fix that. I'll open the file and check to see if I screwed something up when cleaning it though. Eh, looks fine to me, though there's a couple things I didn't catch (guess I must not have gone...

Enough perfectionist fiddling around, I think this is done. One thing though, the Necrom trapdoor used in the lighthouse has a blocked door script on it. Although the script appeared to be altered in the file (and was cleaned out), since the door itself wasn't changed in the file, it may well be fro...

Also, a lot of the static meshes in MW have vertex coloring to darken the parts that are shadowy... i.e. the browns and greens on the WG rocks, lower parts of buildings, etc.

Sigh, every time I run through it, there's always a couple more minutiae that need fixing. But I'm down to the really little stuff at least. So when I stop finding things to tweak and fix, I'll clean it and call it done.

Well we don't plan to fill up the desert with random giant castles and dragons nest and whatnot--but we certainly aren't going to leave it barren in the sense of underdetailed and unappealing. What we're going for is a barren wasteland, yes, but detailed enough to make it quite a sight, which I'm gu...

Not going to defend decisions I didn't make.

As for the strider port, I chose that one instead of the Indoril one since it matched the more run down half of town better. It was used in non-traditional and smaller and mroe run down places in MW, so it seemed appropriate here.

I'd like to do this one. It'll be a good chance to show off a few of TRs new jewels and gems.

Maybe add a couple rings/amulets with minor, but unique, effects.

Anyway, there's just about zero chance that map 3 won't get released at this point, so absolutely worst case, TR just releases half the province of Morrowind and only doubles the size of the game world.

Is that really so bad?

Not that there's much chance of all of us giving up on the rest, either.

That said, although I do like playing MMOs I really get something different out of it than playing a single player role-playing game. There tends to be a lot more cognitive dissonance and fourth-wall breaking in reconciling the story of the game with what you are actually doing in the game itself. O...

I'd recommend using the RM rocks sparingly, if at all. I made the decision to keep the rocks in the lighthouse location, because it is a unique location and switching them to WG made it look more bland. If someone threw down a bunch of rocks just because, then you might as well switch them out. But ...

If it's a logging camp, how do they get the wood to where it's needed? Do they work it there? Haplo's mention of workshops implies that they do... but still wood is a bulk commodity and is most often moved by barge or boat or something of the sort. So maybe not a dock per se, but I think so evidence...

Hey Z, Looked over your WIP, Sailen looks good. A couple things you may want to keep in mind. a) Don't over-orientalize House Indoril. An example of this is the torii-shaped thing outside the Sailen temple. House Indoril has to be unique enough that a player cannot distinguish human cultures or ide...
