^ Its been a very long time since I've seen a villain in a game that wasn't an over-the-top, mindless roadblock. I saw that trailer linked above earlier, and it reminded me (a lot) of Oblivion, so I went and played Oblivion for a few hours before I couldn't take it anymore. Now I'm sitting idly here...

I'll do it. Council house will be built around the main council chamber, with offices for various people who work at the council in the building itself, and a records chamber and vault underneath the council house. With the Indoril, I almost feel like there should be some sort of area of religious s...

The brick (both light and dark) on the outside of the canton is very washed out and gives it a uniform, muddy look. I'd make the lines of pronounced. I also agree about adding a layer of two of grime on top of them. I might take the washed out brick pattern out completely. Originally I just had stu...

Dres Models
Mostly I just want to make this thread as a place to show everyone what's going on with the Dres Exterior pieces. I made a texture set yesterday for some of the buildings and put them on one of the Dres Cantons that I modeled previously. Here's what it looks like in-game with a few imperfections: [i...

What I have done is about 18 or so regular buildings, 2 1/2 cantons, a tower and a pylon. I have no idea what the significance of these buildings are. I basically look at Tur's pictures and model what I see there. < cire992|brb> Once you get the gist of what elements are in the buildings < cire992|b...

That means it is especially the upper class buildings that need concepts and floorplans, as well as the temple and strider port. If it makes you feel better, than draw whatever you want. But the concepts are the only things I pay attention to. The floorplans you guys draw are useless and inaccurate...

Noted, here are the cantons I posted on the irc: Those are pretty much the same size as Velothi cantons, so Dres manors and buildings can be placed on top of t...

top [insert large number here] games lists are entirely subjective, though, based pretty much entirely on the opinions of the writers. I'd imagine yours or my top 200 games list would be incredibly different to theirs. True that. Some of the good lists will occasionally factor in things like copies...

Basically all these exterior building pieces need to snap. Therefore, I have been using imported tiling MW models to work off of and not these drawings. This requires me to change the dimensions of the buildings you've been posting. If I use this workflow, you don't need to make these to exact propo...

Morrowind's grid snapping mystifies me. But I managed to get about 15 or 20 meshes snapping as they should. The textures are recolored velothi and are placeholders. The UVs on some meshes need some fixes, and I'll prolly do a bit of vert shading once I finalize the topology. Anyway, have fun. I'll p...

That's not true. Aeven and I have both made entirely separate and unique oven designs out of Hlaalu pieces just in the last month. Its its not difficult or limited in the slightest.RelinQ wrote:Hmm I want to avoid using the forge, but Making stuff out of hlaalu pieces for an oven is very well.. limited. Hmmm..
