I have in mind a few Indoril planning related topics that, among others, I'd like to see discussed during the coming Skype meeting. These are based on the Indoril Planning document: (I hope to be able to attend myself, but can't say for sure yet) Geography - Saint Llothis - Will it happen? Where? Ho...

I've been working on getting together an Indoril Master planning for a while now. It’s basically a summary of (almost) everything which has been discussed concerning House Indoril. The document is quite self-explanatory, so I’ll just go ahead and post it. Discussion is encouraged. Swif...

[Probably not posting in the right place, but I'm no literature dev to begin with. Feel free to move this post to wherever] I'm giving writing recipe books a try. I had the idea of writing three books; one with basic recipes for the poor, one with common recipes for those who have a little more to s...

Interestin quest idea. Makes me think of the TR book The Locked Cellar with a similar plot. Might be interesting to read; the thieving guard in that story has a backstory and a reason to do as he does. Maybe the guard in t...

11. If referring to this demographics chart of Vvardenfell settlements, no such thing yet exists for the Maindland, but shouldn't be too hard to extract from the data files. That said, I'd also find it interesting to have such an overview, p...

Though I'm personally not in favour of people paying for this, if it's going that way in the end I would recommend looking for voice actors at Fiverr, where everything is offered for: a fiver.

House Sadras
A question was popped on IRC about references to House Sadras in TR. I can't find any discussion on this topic here, but it might be interesting to think about. The only informationI could find on House Sadras is derived from NPC dialogue in Dragonborn: House Sadras is one of the five Great Houses o...

if a female master would get pregnant Reading this strongly reminded me of the TR book The Mistress, where, in a play, a female master goes at it with her Khajiit slave boy. I had a laugh reading it, but don't see much reason ...

Generic Indoril Dialogue
This is a thread for (generic) Indoril dialogue planning. After having checked out the current NPC’s in the CS, I found there is little to none Indoril specific dialogue. Below you will find a list of topics which could have their generic Indoril dialogue. These topics are standard ones used ...

I doubt it any Dunmer would allow their slaves to have slaves. Though your facts are interesting, slaves in Morrowind are at the bottom of the barrel and treated accordingly. Other Houses may see it differently, but Indoril slaves for example, are exclusively property of nobles, just like land. Perh...

I'm trying to understand Indoril law. Ordained law specifically. The identity of the judges depends on the jurisdictional level of the case. In broad terms, Morrowind's law has two distinct levels. Historically, every Great House has a set of traditional rules and values that it is allowed to enforc...

Re: Slaves (present state & future affiars)
to ALEX25 & Telvayn Since the advent of the Third Era, slavery was illegal throughout the Empire, but protected by law in Morrowind. This exception was granted by Tiber Septim in the Armistice of 2E 896 as a concession to the DUNMER, who saw the use of slaves as their ancient right. -the unoffi...

Adding an IRC log between Gnomey and me about Indoril slavery for reference. I've been collecting vanilla Morrowind and TR lore on House Indoril, and there are some inconsistencies. I actually had it, but totally forgot about it. Thanks, Yeti. I also want to discuss slavery. Another question is whether House Indoril should employ household slaves, and what role they would serve in a household. I think that, if only to contrast with House Hlaalu, House Indoril would employ house...

My love for corruption and conflict (in video games) must have gotten the better of me. I do agree with your views Ironed Maidens. The Camonna Tong, through Orvas Dren, controls Hlaalu councilors in Suran and Vivec. What I deem most important is to distinguish the Temple from House Indoril. They are deeply entwined, but still are separate factions and the player should be able to feel this. It would be boring to have two of the same factions with different names. How this should be accomplished I do not know, a...
