Didn't know, sorry

When is the question...I don't want to bother you if you're busy though, but I'm not getting feedback and I'm wondering if you're going to do all the chapters or if I have to edit each one again before you go through them or what

Chappie 2!

The snow and wind howled across the Isinfier Plains, chilling Suni to the bone. The moon and stars were not visible in the blizzard, and when he looked up he only saw the swirling white of snow against a dark gray background.

Suni leaned against the wind, imagining fretfully that the howling was that of werewolves, and not of wind. He was past shivering now, and he knew only his movement was the only thing keeping him from freezing to death. He felt so tired…he just wanted to lie down and go to sleep.

He shook the feeling off and took a drink of greef. The drink’s warmth flowed into him. His steps grew a bit stronger.

He had begun his journey immediately after meeting Letha, looking for the tomb her slaves were searching for treasure. She had given him a crude map, which he could not make heads or tails of. He had set off in a direction that had been good enough. He had been a few hours away from Fort Frostmoth when the blizzard hit.

Suni could no longer feel his fingers or toes or the tips of his pointed ears. The biting wind nibbled at his nose. He tugged his hood tighter, though it was not much use against the penetrating wind.

Suni stumbled and leaned on a tree. His shivering began again, shaking so violently he almost dropped the flask of greef. He took a step and faltered. The snow looked so soft, so inviting to a tired body…

He jolted into movement again. He would not be taken down that easy. He took another sip of liquor for encouragement.

The trees grew thinner, and the ground began to slope upward. Soon the trees were gone, and the only shield from the wind was the snow-covered rocks jutting from the white blanket of snow.

Suni slipped suddenly as a hidden rock shifted out from under him. He toppled into the snow, felt its cold against his face. He slid a few feet down the slope. Gritting his teeth he lay there, willing himself to get up, but he didn’t quite have the strength.

Stupid, he scolded himself. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Should’ve stayed at home. At home. With the warm fire, the clean sheets of bed, the blankets, and a hot cup ofâ€â€￾

A loud squealing sound interrupted his dreams. With an effort he picked his head up from the snow, looking around. The squealing was up ahead, too far away to see what was making it. He heard something else, a voice perhaps, but it was rough and the words were foreign. The squealing did not stop.

Suddenly there was a scream. The squealing turned shrill with fear. Something ran and tumbled down the slope. Suni got wearily to his hands and knees. Snow was kicked in his face as a dark boar-like creature dashed past him, leather harness flying from its back. It disappeared, squealing, into the night.

The scream sounded again. Suni listened with dazed ears. He looked stupidly up the slope.

The scream was cut off in a gurgle. There was ripping noises, and loud, long howl.

Suni lurched to his feet, heart beating in numb panic. Wolf. Werewolf. He had to get out of here.

He began running heavily back down the slope. There was a padding and crunching in the snow behind him. He screamed, and was bowled over by a heavy weight.

Teeth and claws dug into his shoulder. Suni screamed and tried to jerk the Daedric sword out of its sheath, but it was stuck underneath him as he fell. The teeth found another hold, and then another, and another, trying to tear out muscles to cripple its prey.

Suni managed to turn on his back and thrust the sword at the dark shape over him. There was a hellish yell and the creature fell back. Suni stumbled to his feet, shaking now from more than just cold.

It was a werewolf.

It was at him again before he could think. Claws fell to raking his chest. Suni clumsily swung the sword around, hitting the beast with a flat of his blade.

The werewolf jumped sideways and renewed its fierce slashing attack. Suni awkwardly waved the blade around, hoping he hit something other than himself. He had a few solid thwacks, and then a clean slice.

The werewolf howled in pain. It staggered backward, doubling over in pain. Suni took the advantage, and brought the blade down onto its head.

There was a crack and splatter of brains and blood. Suni dropped to his knees as the beast fell. He stared at the corpse, slowly becoming aware of his madly pumping heart and panting breath. He put his hand on a nearby tree, leaning on it and trying to calm down.

He was alive. The werewolf was dead. He was safe now. The werewolf was dead. He was so cold…

The snow was turning red from blood around the werewolf. He lifted the heavy sword to poke the body. It didn’t move.

In a daze he got to his feet and trudged in a random direction, dragging his sword through the snow. He was exhausted past exhaustion, but he could only keep moving, keep walking. He didn’t know where he was going, or if he was even going in the right direction. All thought narrowed to moving his feet.

The wind slowly died down. The large snowflakes were now falling in a quiet slant. The visibility became clearer. He saw the shadows of trees and a large pile of stones against a near vertical slope of land. Suni realized it was an entrance to something, and his brain slowly puzzled out that this was a tomb. Tombs were underground. Underground meant getting out of the wind. Getting out of the wind meant warmth. He stumbled gratefully towards the entrance.

He tripped over something, and landed on his knees. He groaned and looked over his shoulder, to see what the dark shape had been.

It was a Khajiit, stone dead and half torn to pieces by vicious claws, with a slave bracer around its left wrist.

Suni blinked incomprehensively. He got to his feet again.

And then he noticed it. The clearing was full of bodies. Argonian, Khajiit, even a few humans. All with slave bracers. Dark shadows of roughly put together shelters huddled on the far side under the trees. The doors were cracked and broken into splinted boards, thrown violenty from their frames. Broken bottles and glass and other things littered the snow with their softly glinting sides.

Suni blinked again. Then it hit him.

He had found the tomb Letha had been excavating. Her slaves were all here, dead in the snow.

He slowly touched one of the werewolf scratches. And he had a good notion of how it happened.

Chapter 1

Suni stepped off the dock, sniffing the chill air of Solstheim. The bright sunlight cast no warmth on the cold landscape of gray rock and towering pines. Mist clung to the deep green grass and clogged the air with damp cold. Fort Frostmoth stood persevering the weather, torch lights like dots of civilization ready to be snuffed out.

Suni shivered and shrugged under his pack’s weight. He experimented huffing white mist, staring after it curiously as it rose to dissipate. The pine needles also caught his eye, and sent him wondering what blight had caused the tree’s leaves to shrivel into spines.

Gravel and stray pinecones crackled under his feet as he trudged up the path to the fort. Guards in clinking mail stamped to keep warm on the high walls, muttering to each other. Suni let his head twist around to take in the entry arch of the outer stone wall.

Other travelers departing from the same ship shouldered past Suni, entering various doors set in the Imperial stonework of the courtyard. Suni stopped next to the covered well, filling his sight of what was to be his home for the next few months.

“Damn East Empire Company,â€Â￾ he muttered without passion. “How do they expect to get business all the way up here?â€Â￾

No one answered. Suni sighed and pushed open one of the doors, looking for his client. She was scheduled to be here…

“Good morning,â€Â￾ said a sudden voice at his shoulder. Suni jumped and swung around.

The Breton woman blinked at him. “Dunmer are jumpy creatures, aren’t they? I suppose you are Suni Assirinni from the contract. You match the description.â€Â￾

“That I am. You must be Letha. I was to do business with you. What did you want exactly? The letter wasn’t clear.â€Â￾

“Sit down and have a drink first,â€Â￾ said Letha. Suni followed her to a table and slipped into the chair across from her, studying her suspiciously.

Letha poured drinks. “My interest is old ruins of all types, Daedric, Dwemer, and especially the old Nordic catacombs and tombs on this isle. Lately I have come across a new one, quite far from here, in the Moesring mountains.â€Â￾

“I am a statesman, sera, not a scout.â€Â￾

“And of that I’m quite aware. Have no fear, the tomb is well manned and the slaves there are on the look out for you.â€Â￾

Suni licked his lips, not convinced.

Letha continued, “All I need you do to is to make sure I am getting my money’s worth from this expedition, which your boss said you are quite capable of. You have a way with scraping money from ash piles, as they say.â€Â￾

“Trying to keep in the competition with a little robbing from the dead you mean?â€Â￾

Letha’s unconcerned tone grew a steely note. “Call it what you like. I am willing to pay you one thousand gold, and something else.â€Â￾

Suni put down his mug, trying not to stare at her. 1,000 gold, all for watching over a bunch of slaves! It sounded too easy.

Suni hummed and leaned his chair on its back legs, drumming his fingers together. Suni suddenly smiled and shook a finger. “Ah, you’re not snaring me so easily. What’s the catch?â€Â￾

Letha leaned forward, tapping the table. She gestured Suni closer. “There have been rumors of werewolves in the area.â€Â￾

Suni's chair came back to all fours with a thump. “Werewolves! No, that's it. I'm not going out there with werewolves on the prowl, no matter what you pay me!â€Â￾

“Ah, but you haven’t seen the other part of the reward.â€Â￾ Letha stood up and walked to a bundle in the corner. She dug through it and pulled out a long sword of black and ruby red.

Suni stared at it until Letha placed it in his hands. He ran a finger down the razor-sharp black blade, which seemed to be glowing with an inner light. He touched the strange red-black hilt with alien designs cut into the metal.

“This is Daedric,â€Â￾ he whispered, awed.

“Yes,â€Â￾ Letha smiled. “It is the other part of the reward, and I will give it to you when you agree to service me.â€Â￾

A Daedric longsword and 1,000 gold, and the Daedric sword was down payment. He would be swimming in money. The task was easy, barring the werewolves, but that’s why he had the sword after all.

Suni put the sword point on the floor and stood up. “I’ll do it.â€Â￾

I don't think it would be a good idea for Morrowind to become totally free, because all the bloodshed...I'm not sure how you could do that in this type of roleplaying game. Perhaps the rebels could just...rock the Imperials' foundations that sets it all up for the main quest of TR...whatever that is...

Changing it now, thanks. In another post I posted this. I need more input, so putting it here too. As those who have read it will see, it tells the story of Bloodmoon. I'm thinking that we could do this... Somewhere in Skyrim, preferably in a more remote little village close to the Morrowind border,...

try bronze rather than copper. It was used by the Greeks and Trojans I think for weapons and armor. Perhaps you could add pieces of other metal here and there to the armor, kinda of like they did to the glass armor--you notice glass armor is not made entirely made out of glass.

Heads up! I just realized two things by looking at my other stories in this series:

1. This is really supposed to be Chapter 9.

2. The title's supposed to be "In the Wolf's Eye" rather than "In the Eye of the Wolf"

Please change these.

When Suni awoke he was much warmer, covered in fur and lying next to another werewolf. The other woke as he sat up to yawn and stretch. It sniffed him delicately, then got up to disappear behind a bend in the rock. It returned with a chewed-on deer leg, dragging it over and dropping it in front of him. Thanking it with a single wag of his tail, Suni bent to eat.

When he was finished, the other werewolf silently set out. Suni followed cautiously, and they came upon the rest of the werewolf pack. They were quiet and still, their breath huffing white mist, gazing at him attentively. His gut twisting, Suni recognized the scent of blood on their muzzles.

In silent agreement they started northwest. There were new werewolves in the pack, Suni noticed, who seemed nervous and glanced at each other continuously, as if this was their first night as a werewolf. And maybe it was.

In contrast, the pair of alpha pack leaders were cool and composed, focusing on moving onward, not seeming to care if the others followed. They were fixed on something, tense. Not even the occasional animal dashing across their trail moved them from their goal.

It was the second-in-commands that hurried the pack along with snaps and growls and nudges. Suni learned quickly not to get in front of the leaders, lest he challenge their position. The fur around his throat was now uneven and torn from that venture.

The mountains went up and up and then down and down. Suni was confused and lost, but the alphas seemed to know where they were going. Black clouds covered the stars and moons. In the darkness, he began to rely on his nose and not his eyes.

A last hill, and the land leveled into rolling plains of snow. Past the sharp rocks and cliffs of the mountains, the werewolves pushed their speed higher, running outright on top of the snow. Suni felt excitement grow somewhere in his stomach region, though he had no clue whence it came. He heard the snorting and squealing of the strange pig-like animals somewhere in the distance, as well as the rough cries of their squat riders. He recalled for a moment his first encounter with a werewolf, when something wiped that thought cleanly away.

The werewolves slowed and stopped in front of a huge silver-blue structure. Suni would have said it was ice, but he had never seen ice rise in a myriad maze of tall sheets jutting from such strange angles.

The two alphas sat back to howl. Suni drew breath to join in, but another werewolf brought its muzzle down on his nose, a signal to keep quiet.

There was a great cracking. Suni’s hackles rose. A narrow cleft opened into the ice in front of them, leading into a misty darkness. The werewolves slowly filed in at a cautious walk.

He was walked forward in darkness, the werewolves in front and behind bumping into him. Light grew ahead. Suni pricked his ears, confused, and looked back, but couldn’t see anything.

The light was strange, greenish. It was just enough to illuminate the shapes of the werewolves, and jutting ice and strange purplish stone. Suni sniffed at one, and smelled a vague scent of the sweetness of rot and the bitterness of metal, and something else. It was very strange. But he recognized the architectural design. Daedric.

A chill ran up his backbone. The narrow passage opened out in a room of Daedric making, full of sharp angles and alien design. He filed in with the other werewolves, and in a very un-werwolfish way settled into the orderly rows and pointed his nose skyward with the other werewolves, focusing on a Daeric lamp spewing mist down upon them.

His senses tipped and swayed as if Suni was drunk...like the time they had on the three days before he had become a werewolf. He closed his eyes and saw the vision of the red sphere and the spanning antlers again. But he could see more clearly now. The sphere was the smaller of the moons, but soaked with red. The antlers were attached to a helmet, but the face beneath it was shadowed. A voice boomed in his ears. He trembled under its mighty baritone but at the same time felt a rush soar up, a lust to prove himself...and a lust to get out of here.

“My hound, new to the pack. The time draws near. You must ready yourself, hound. Grow strong on the flesh of your quarries. Drink their blood to become swift as the wind. Prove yourself against them, to the top you must go, for only the best will be chosen, and the others shall fall...â€Â￾

He quivered in half-wakefulness, in a fit of nerves. He knew who he had spoken to, the moment the first syllable had left the lord’s lips. Hircine, the lord of werewolves, the Huntsman. A Daedric Prince.

Around him, the werewolves were snapping and pacing in place. He paid no attention to them. Suni was scared. But the werewolf was excited. Between the two he could not bear to stay in this ominous place any longer.

He wheeled and dashed for the crack that led outside. A chorus of barks and howls of protest kicked up behind him, and a hot, hairy fury of an alpha werewolf brought him down from behind. Suni fought back with his werewolf might, whimpering and growling in turns. The other werewolves stayed in their places.

Finally Suni gave out, and curled underneath the alpha, whimpering and tucking his tail under. The alpha stood over him with its tail in the air, teeth bared. Finally it decided Suni had learned his lesson, and let him up. Suni got to his feet and quickly slunk away, trembling. The alpha paid him no more attention.

They did not stay long in the Daedric place. Suni began to understand that it was like a holy place to the werewolves, and his breaking formation was like a blasphemous cleric running off in the middle of a ceremony. The werewolves stood in their rows for a little longer, and sung a solemn howling that Suni was sure reached all the way to the Nordic village. But no Nords deprived of sleep came knocking at the door with clubs and swords, and the werewolves filed out as silently as they had come in. The crack closed behind them.

This time they did not part to sleep alone, but lay together among the ice shards. A sturdily built werewolf with little mind to others’ toes squished Suni on one side, and Suni tried not to repeat the deed to the female with gold-tipped fur on his other side. And so an uncomfortable Suni stayed up until it was an hour from dawn, wondering how werewolves managed privacy and decency when they all changed back to their humanoid selves when the sun rose.

Killing people would be extremely frowned upon in this faction, as if it was let out that the Imperials were killers, the Empire would go down pretty quickly by angry peasents. Well, maybe not quickly, but would be a headache for the Emperor and the Blades and Imperial Legions I'm sure and they've a...

Actually, it could be done. Most quests would be getting so and so's money. And you're the fellow who deals with the tricky ones. Some would give it up easily (they forgot and were late. gotta pay interest for that, you know...), some you would have to fight for it, some would hide it (like that fel...

Unless you're going for extremes like a really lawful Merceneries guild or really unlawful, etc., the Fighters Guild already just about covers it.

Yes, yes, yes! I would also make to like to see a similiar thing done for the Buoyant Armigers. Their light-hearted view of life and that of the serious Ordinators might be an interesting thing to exploit (or give mention of) in a few of the quests. :) Reading more into your ideas--I think you may b...

Anyway, how do you feel about my comments to your comments?

Since we're talking about skyrim, I'm renewing an old idea of mine:

 Sled dogs for Skyrim. If they only appear in lore at the least, but we could make some sort of transport system out of them perhaps.

Nirn is the right one I guess...doesn't seem right somehow though...perhaps shoud just change the way I write that part. How does this sentence sound? "The narrow passage opened out in a room of Daedric making, all spiky and strange." Room of Daedric making=room made by the Daedra/having D...
