Check out information on the shops. If the makers don\'t reply, I\'ll PM you the WIP files.

Use the OoT packages. :)

Other than that, no uber weapons or items (no daedric, no glass, no ebony, and dwemer only if I, Noir and Vegor agree).

Granted. Happy modding! :)

This is really really big for only having 2 appartments.

I'll try to keep it relatively small. The plan makes it sound bigger than what I have in mind. One final question before I get started (i'm a newbie :)) What kind of interior architecture are we talking about in this town.

in_MH, that is the Indoril style.

If you look at the picture provided it's pretty big. That's why I'm wondering. The "appartments" are large manors.

Oh, you want it to be big. I got the impression you wanted smaller. It's good. I can make it big.

My first post here was largely directed at Hermit. If you look at the picture in the description (http://www.tamriel-rebuilt.org/g/maps/interiors/3/almalexia_velothril_01.jpg) you'll see that it's already very large. In my opinion, there should be more than two appartments. That is entirely Hermit's decision, though.

I'd split the top floor between the two appartments with a corridor, and downstairs I was thinking of a reception desk just inside the door downstairs with a doorway leading into the lounge which has a small bar... But this would only really work if there were another room which is vacant or rentable, imo... Maybe the tenant is a travelling merchant who stores his personal treasures in there? Anyway, I'm keen to do ANYTHING, so long as I'm doing SOMETHING. I'm flexible, so mum's the word.

Good. Make sure you use OoT to spice things up.

Make sure you hhave good knowledge of the CS with grid snapping. SET IT to 64 at all times. Wait for hermit or someone to grant this.

Okay. You have already been told the basics, I take it. :)
Well then, have fun with this one. Granted and happy modding. :)

Use the OoT versions attached and those only. Thanks.

Thanks guys - I'm on it :)

Just 1 question though, while I think of it - How often should I post my progress?

As much as you see fit really. Some people post every little bit and others dont post it at all. Personally I like to post progress after the initial layout is done, after I change anyhting significant, and after I have placed basic furniture and so have the room layout.

Well, you should post at least every two weeks, but interiors can be finished a lot faster than that. Anyway, there's no rule other than the two weeks one.

Okay, I'm having some issues with OOT_Old.tar.gz -it contains only TR_OOT_Main.esm (I think) and I was expecting to find a OOT_Old.esm in there... what happens when I'm working on another cell which requires OOT_main.esm? I won't know which one is which if they're both got the same name. What am I meant to do? Thanks in advance... I can't really do much until I hear back from Franky and CarbonCreations, so I'm not in a big hurry here, I guess I'll just sit tight.

You're meant to work on only ones on Map 3 or not on Map 3 at a certain time. And one .esm will overright the other, so don't worry about chosing the wrong one.

Okay, thanks Sload... Any chance you could tell me what esm and esp files I should be using please? I'm trying morrowind.esm tribunal.esm bloodmoon.esm OOT_Main.esm EOT_something.esm but the only esp file I have is map1... Obviously that's no good to me when I'm using OOT_Old.esm and do I need an eot_esp file at all? Is there one? I'm sure I saw it somewhere, but can't remember where or even if I need it :S

Not off to a good start, am I?

EDIT: I'm used to using the Far Cry editor - been a while since I used the CS - sorry if it's getting to anybody.

Bit confuzzling at first, huh. I'm not up on interiors, but I don't think you need to use EoT unless you need to put armour or weapons in your claim. If you wanted to have a TR-made dagger mesh somewhere for example, then yes you would need it.

Other than that, you just have to get the map, OoT_Main and get started, right? :D Maybe I misunderstood...

I'm loading Morrowind.esm, Tribunal.esm, Bloodmoon.esm, TR_OOT_Main.esm and TR_EOT.esm and recieve the following error (repeated hundreds of times for the different files that don't exist):

Missing Object "TR_test_crate_BoT" for reference during cell "ToddTest" load.

Continue running executable?

- at which point I say yes, and when it's loaded (finally) it crashes CS. I'm in a pickle here - can anyone help me out please?

Well, as I'm having some start-up issues, can I have this claim revoked please? I'm just not sure if I can finish it anytime soon... and someone else may be able to do it before I can.

unoficial review: DOES NOT FIT EXTERIOR! (this alone is cause for revoking). the exterior is 2 stories and wider by one tile. the colums bleed together. this is a simple problem which can be fixed by using OoT. along whith some more minor bleeders...

basicly, please redo this on before i can send it to review. otherwise youll never see it again. and in the future, please be paitient and wait for a grant.

Here it is Lady N...

By the way, this is only a CS check, didn't check ingame.

--- --- ---
-
No problems loading it in the CS
-

No Northmarker
-
Doesn't fit exterior
-
The tileset static pieces are bleeding horribly with each other
-
Common/Imperial style torches must go
-
All limeware must go
-
Skull must go
-
furn_de_tapestry_09 - both of them in the center room are bleeding into the wall
-
Table in left-corner room is bleeding into rug.
Same table - grand soul gem on scales must go
Same table - light_com_candle_02_64 is bleeding into the table
Same table - TR_bk_ArkayTheGod is bleeding into the table, but the book should be removed, as it's a biggie Necromancer book.
-
Same room - pillow is bleeding into bed
-
middle room - misc_de_bowl_bugdesign_01 is bleeding into shelf
-
Same shelf - misc_com_redware_pitcher - both of them are bleeding into the shelf
-
Same shelf - basket is floating
-
Same shelf - all but one flash on the bottom level are resting gyroscopically on a pointed bottom, and they should be leaning.
-
Same shelf - Lute is bleeding into the shelf
-
right-corner room - the silver platter is floating off of the wall it should be leaning against, but needs to go anyway, because it's imperial dishware
-
Same room - pillow is bleeding into bed
-
furn_de_tapestry_09 in the entrance hall is bleeding into the wall
---

Overall - first, make it fit the exterior, and then make sure the doors and windows are in the right spots. Then fill it up. It's way too empty for it's size now.

First:Sorry hermint for being impacient.

Second:
unoficial review: DOES NOT FIT EXTERIOR!
What do you mean does not fit with the exterior?Tell me where can I find this house. What is the name of the exterior and it will be fixed.Tell me what's wrong with it.

Third:Hplo.Do you mean anything is bleeding?Don't give me a three kilometters list of bugs.Tell me what to fix.Yeah the furniture is bleeding. But in rest?

Guys tell me what to do.I worked a whole day on this and now you tell me this.

edit:Oh yes.I've seen what you mean. This will be fixed very easy.:D

We just told you what to do. That's what a review does. It gives you a 3km-long list of errors. You read the errors, and fix them.

For instance, if something says: 'Needs a northmarker', then you add a northmarker.

If something says 'platter is bleeding into shelf', then you go find that platter in your interior, and raise it up a tad until it's only resting on the shelf and not bleeding into it.

Of course, this is pointless if you don't understand the concept of items 'bleeding'. But you do, right?

Edit: Does not fit exterior. This means the interior design/outlay is not the same as the exterior is.

For instance, if, in the exterior, there's a 1-level 3x3 building, then the interior should be 3x3 pieces, and 1 level. Simple. Hopefully.

Please re-read it at least twice to understand that it's fucking ridiculous. A list of bugs is already telling you what to fix. And you know...the first thing you had to do is to check the exterior... All needed in is in the claim description. So meh.
