Heh, that and long ago when this project started there were some forum hosting problems (if memory serves correct, it was almost 2 years ago after all)which caused for the joined dates to be lost, of course most of the original members seem to have left. But back to the topic, I've been here since about two years ago, but have been on a sabbatical of sorts lately

So, who's been here the longest? Who was it that actually came up with the idea of TR anyway? Is this a legacy that we've inherited, and the original people have left, or what?

I've been here since the 12th September... N00b :P Haven't done much work, yet either :s

Just curious, has someone put "The History of TR" into a book in TR yet?

Hi and welcome to the project. Yes, the newbie forum is locked for the time being, so here are some directions as to what to do.
First of all, go to the Showcase forum. Then, make a thread with your username as a title and post there samples of your work. What are you good at? Using CS, modelling, texturing, drawing, writing, scripting? Whatever it is, people have to see what you can do.
Make the first step, and more info wil be on their way!

Most important, have fun!

Ohhh that seems harsh.

If I had to post what I could do before I could do it, I never would have done what I did.

The Showcase forum is also a place where those who are learning can post their work, and gain valuable advice from more experienced modders.

I joined to the forum exactly 19 March 2005 and mostly just hanged here spitting out stupendous ideas like "sword of the Armageddon" or "Imperial Special Forces" and so on and so on...

Some of you might remember, what sort of an asshole I was during that time. After that I spanked myself a little and studied the ways of TR and started to understood, how things are done here (yet I barely understand even now, but let that not disturb us.)

I claimed two claims late August and in three months I didn't finish them. Then I applied as a reviewer and reviewed exactly one claim from the four, I was assigned.

Now I'm working mostly on Sound&Music -side as an amateur composer and fair Dunmer voice actor and applied as a TR Modder. Now I'm just hanging on the forums and spitting out stupendous posts - mostly.

So after the short history of Mal Fero'Tal (Who knows, how long time), I ask - what has changed in me? :D
Any objections?

Welcome Broken!
Please read the FAQs, and all that other stuff:
http://tamriel-rebuilt.org/?p=faq&section=0
http://tamriel-rebuilt.org/?p=faq&section=6923

There is lots of work to do here, and I am sure there is something that you will like to do. We are in need of concept art and books right now, as well as more interior work. Just head over to the 'Showcase' forum and post some of your work. (if it is a cell, be sure to follow the posted guidelines.) Welcome to Tamriel Rebuilt!

Welcome! (tries to find ammendmant about new members having compulsory large avatar)and might want to fix the Dr Zombie picture to a less obtuse size ;). EDIT: Getting warmer

Be sure to check the showcase thread, thats where you post your available skills and develop them with the help of other TR modders, in order to achieve modder status.

What's the point of this topic? Everyone can see you're joined date below you're username. So I'll say it 13th of January on year 2006 :D

Way to not read earlier on this page and probably earlier in this thread. This topic was started at a time when we had recently moved forums so anyone who joined before "August 21 2003" didn't have their joindate. I think Haplo is the only active person of such a type left, so this thread should just be full of Haplo posting when he joined.

I remember joining ages ago, my name was wiped because I was inactive or something... at that time I was just interested to see what it was all about without any intention of joining. Although now I frequent the boards because I'm wanting to get involved with Oblivion and whatnot.
P.S. Please don't make handbags, wallets, belts or shoes out of Orix

Yeah, Majra whiped the list clean during April last year.

So this thread is now devoted only to Haplo and Orix. No one else can post when they join! :P

Now there are some fimiliar faces!

For the record... February 2003 (or so, lurked for a couple months before that).

Old enough to remember the bridge accross the Inner Sea project (I'm glad that fell apart). Does that make me cool?

This is now the Haplo, Orix, and CleverClothe join date thread.

Cleverclothe: That didn't actually fall apart. Atleast, there was a bridge from Tel Mora to Firewatch for a long long time. Then Stalker removed it.

Oh, yea, I remember that one. But I wasn't thinking about that. I was thinking about the one from Ebonheart south to the mainland, with docks all along it.
