Update: Land raised and textured. All ground but the roads vertex shaded. To show you what the claim is like, I've attached a screenie.

Update: Got the large statics in the four southern cells placed. I've got to put small flora and rocks in. Due to the fact there is a framerate monster to the south (Almalexia) and the claims to the west and northwest are also computer-killing, I'm trying to make sure there aren't too many refs and so forth placed in this claim.

Nice to know that... But try to detail it as much as possible so that when it's finished we don't need to detail it later like with map 1.

That is the plan: to put in as little as possible for the greatest effect. I do think I am placing statics better now than I have in my previous claims.

I'm dropping this claim. I just don't have the will at the moment to see it through at the moment (I need a break from exterior modding). Someone else who has the will to exterior mod might as well do this claim, because I don't think I will have it done anytime soon.

I've uploaded the most recent copy of this claim. The borders are largely matched, the ground is raised and textured, all four interior entrances in this claim have been placed (the eggmine, the cave in the MA-y bit, and two farmhouses), and some big statics and so forth has been placed in the southern cells.

EDIT: Oh and thanks Fanfas

Shouldn't we PM him? (Just to keep up with supposed protocol... It's been about 4 months and no post from him. Generally this warrants a revoke, but I know Map 3 isn't highest priority atm)

Ah right. I'd forgotten about the magic 'claim' button.

I plan to finish this claim. The rough outline of its contents is already listed, and I dont plan on changing that.

Here's a pic of the progress Ive made so far on this claim. The major details are slowly but surely getting worked out. Hopefully I'll be doing the vertex coloring and little details soon.

Hey Zalz, the claim is looking really nice! How is the progress coming? At this point in time, can you guess how much longer you have till completion?

Why in N/A instead of unclaimed, Noir?

So people who are claiming exteriors can see that map 2 claims are priority. Once map 2 is done, I will reopen map 3.

Ohmygosh! The updated file!

It's really nt too much different than the screenshot posted, a little bit more on the clutter side of things. The edges still need a fair bit more detailing work, they're rather bare at present, and a bit more flora/little rocks is in order on the rest of it. Oh, and the lava needs more rocky features. There's so few different rocks for that, so its bloody annoying to make it look good. But it's getting there.

I you wouldn't mind unrevoking it I am once again able to work on it and would be glad to inish it up here.

On the first page at the top right of the screen is a pretty "CLAIM" button. Press that and enter something witty to get it back.

Hey I found the claim button!

I do want to finish this, so if I could get it (re)-granted, I'll have it finished in a coupla days. Not much left to do apart from putting down a little bit more detailing type stuff.

Also, now that the TR data is organized into an .esm, I assume all I have to do is use TESDTK to remove the OoT dependency and loadit with TR_Data and everything will be fine? Are any of the objects different enough to cause problems if I do this?

If they are, it doesn't matter, I'll fix them when I merge it. :-)

Also, make sure when you use TESDTK to remove TR_OoT_Main and TR_EoT (BOTH!) first, and THEN add on TR_Data after both have been removed. You should end up with a Clean ... and a Clean Clean ... file in the TESDTK folder. Use the Clean Clean (rename it to remove the Cleans if you wish)

Sorry if it sounds kind of patronizing, I have no idea how much experience you have with TESDTK

EDIT - And by Clean Clean I mean Free Free. TESAME is Clean. TESDTK is Free.

It's more or less done, I'm just not quite satisfied with it until I add a few more flowers, ferns, and little things.

UPDATE: After running through in game, the list of things that bothered me was less than half a page, so I will most likely inish that by tomorrow if not tonight--tonight's the last night one of my good friends is back in town before heading off to New York, so I am probably not going to be doing that much in terms of modding. Anyway for now I'm of to class.

Okay the final file should be uploaded. The only error that I encountered when switching from the old TR files is that Ndib's mooncap wasn't in the new file, and apparently is used in this claim somewhere. I don't remember where if it is my doing though.

The interiors are:

Cave Entrance (23,-22)
This entrance was going to be used for a fairly extensive underground cave complex that Nairb, Stalker, myself, and some others were proposing a while back. The other entrances would be the hidden cave at (24,-22) in my 3-2 claim, and a cave South of Darnim Watch at (23,-20). The cave at (23,-18) was also considered as a possible fourth entrance depending on how much space the ideas for different parts of the cave needed. I still think this is a really cool idea and should be implemented.

Indoril Manor and Indoril Shack (21,-22)
Manor is the residence of the owner of the nearby mine, and the shack serves as a bunkhouse for the workers.

Mine (20,-23)
Not entirely sure if this is an eggmine or oore mine or what. Probably good to add some barrels of eggs or crates of ore to the exterior once this is decided.

Alchemists Shack and Alchemists Lab (20,-21)
I'mnot entirely set on the idea of this being an alchemist's shack, so if someone has a better idea they can feel free to use it, but I had envisaged this as the home of a slightly loopy old alchemist with his lab built outside the house on stilts to keep ingredients out of the muck and to avoid damaging the house itself were an accident to occur.
