Oblivion Exterior Claims

Post by Noirgrim »

The duties of exterior modders for Hammerfell:

- Fix any and all floaters and bleeders. there are often rocks submerged in the ground around the large rock clusters, remove or raise them up.

- Fix ground texture problems (especially around the coast)

- Make roads and paths (roads should follow those on the claims map. Roads should be highly detailed. Paths may use any dirt 'ng' textures (ng=noGrass)

- Add TrGMCliff meshes around bodies of water, ie rivers and coastline. (The water of the moor has washed away the soil to reveal a sharp cliff. Leave areas where there is no cliff so that the PC can get out of the water at certain points)

- Tors (Tors that you place should be placed at the tops of hills, feel free to delete Tors at the bottoms of hills)

- Each claim states what and how many interior entrances exist (ruins/settlements) you may place them anywhere within the claim (however certain settlements have predetermined locations and will be discussed in the claims thread).

- THIS IS YOUR BABY! No one likes an ugly baby, or a premature one. Work on this until perfection. If you don't, we have no problem scrapping it and giving it to someone who will.

All discussion will take place in the claims thread. Upload WIP files regularly with screenshots!

YOU MAY/SHOULD

- change land height to an extent
- move things around
- add things that are appropriate for GM
- add random encounter NPCs (you must provide a list of one you add and in what cell they are. 90% should be Redguard)
- CLEAN YOUR CLAIM!!! Your claim should not include any cells or refs to cells not in your claim!

YOU MAY NOT

- add items from other regions
- add settlements or cities not predetermined to be there from Lore
- add creatures

NOTE!: While you are working on your claim, there will be updates to OoT that will give you new things to put in your claim, such as Architecture, Interior Entrances, and other cool things. If said items are not ready when you want them, keep cool, they're coming!
