If Stonemoor's not in this claim, wouldn't it be better to just remove everything about Stonemoor from the Claim's description?

Actually, Stonemoor will be in this claim. I think I once confused it with Stonedale, which is further north.

I'd like to take this claim to start with.

Is there any place where I can see pictures of the region?

Also, you can use the link at the top of this claim to look at the cells this claim includes.

To wait until Monday for the revoking of this exterior would be a fallacy, I therefore declare this claim revoked.

i want to make a good decision :) stonemoor will probably be done in LC style, folowing the sexyrific cliff layour concept. i will also use some gold coast flora to match it better with cyrodiil along the brena river. um, yea. this wont take a year, i swear.

Yay !

Hopefully good practice for when Elinhir comes 'round.

I'm fixing the OoT issue as I type, btw. About the region thing. And fixing the incorrect file path for the texture on that one spear reed plant. And adding Helkori plant #3. Then uploading it.

If you ask me, you should just scratch the bullshit ruins and finish the claim in that form to be detailed with other stuff later when we get more material.

gasp, i actually started real work on this yesterday. going to work on the shoreline first and incorporate some goldcoast elements to tie it all together. also playing with those cliff meshes, hehe

can anyone direct me to a tutorial or something about the texture quads btw? what is the texture limit per quad? how can i get rid of some (just paint over it?)?

I think you need to be in landscaping mode, then press the 'i'-key to bring up a box with list of textures used and their respective percentage... delete by pressing 'del'...

Malatusel is in this claim. It was built as a penal colony to begin with, later turned into a fort, finally being a resting place for stores of knowledge of the Heartland High Elves before being abandoned at the end of the second era. It's fucking huge, but only one cell. It should be fairly large, seeing as it was a fort.

Were you going to add this, or would you like me to?

i can put it in, unless you really want to.

the progress was going quite well until it fucked up somehow (i dont know how).

ill see if i can fix that, but i might have to start over :/

[edit] got it under control, more or less.

Is it the lod files maybe? Whenever I try to clean my claim, removing editing in cells outside it I end up with totally screwed up borders.

nope, those are actual cells of my claim. i've gotten it smoothed and lowered to approximately what it was before, now i just have to fix textures, vertex shading, and objects in the affected cells.

ok, so it happened again :/ this time only one cell, but the cause is still unknown to me. all i did with the cell was move a couple rocks around. basically, the whole cell of land severed its borders and rotated at some arbitrary angle. its textures and vertex shading likewise fucked up.

currently its a incontinence at best. i can correct it well enough, but its a pain in the ass fixing all of that.

ive uploaded a dirty WIP for backup purposes. the current error is still present. if someone wants to take a look at it and maybe help me figure out whats causing this it would be really appreciated.

I will take a look at it in appoximately 6 1/2 hours. :)

edit:
No problems here. I checked out every cell and it was all ok. Even moved some stones around trying to tease it, to no avail...

btw, your .esm is named Hammerfellv3 !? Mine's simply Hammerfell...

EDIT again: Of course I only made a renamed copy which worked perfectly.

ait' more weirdness. today i did a little walk through in game. i noticed similar (but less severe) cell movement ingame, but now that im looking at it in the CS its not present (though the textures did get messed up). im not working from a clean version of the file, and afair didn't make any changes to those cells since i fixed them days back.

screenshots of the ayleid ruin and some landscape. obviously there are still errors (notably grass)

there are suppose to be a couple, cause provincial borders didn't exist back then. this one is located on the very border with cyrodiil, and, as you can see, is quite tiny. i have place for a Yoku one on that Y junction of the Brena river.

some are 100%, but no idea how many. most of my cells are fine without me adding any extra detail, so most of my work is fixing errors caused by procedural generation and messing with textures. ill try to give you an estimate next time i get to modding this.
