Tamriel Rebuilt; Telvannis beta v2.0

Post by theviking »

Map 1: Telvannis is the first part of Tamriel Rebuilt's Morrowind Province mod.

A large mod, it adds great amounts of content to the game, including:

-Over 500 exterior cells
-Over 400 interior cells
-Over 6500 dialogue entries
-Over 950 NPCs
-Over 25 new creatures
-Over 250 new pieces of equipment
-Over 100 quests

Before I say more, let me give you the download link:

PlanetElderScrolls

ModDB

TESNexus

This is a beta release, so not every quest that the final version will have is in it. This is, however, our last beta for Telvannis, the next one will be the final version.

The quests that are included in this file are the following:

- The Fighters Guild, with a headquarters in Firewatch
- The Mages Guild, which also has its base in Firewatch
- The Thieves Guild, which occupies the sleazy tavern the Howling Noose in Firewatch
- The Tribunal Temple, with their chapel in Ranyon-ruhn
- And of course House Telvanni; you can do all the mouth quests and a whole quest line for master Mithras of Ranyon Ruhn for them

Also included in this file are all the miscellaneous quests of Telvannis. Port Telvannis, the capital of the Telvanni lands, has 9 of them! Gah Sadrith is second with 5 miscellaneous quests; Gah Ouadaruhn has 4. Firewatch, Bal Oyra, Tel Ouada and Ranyon-ruhn all have 3 miscellaneous quests. The rest of the settlements have 2 quests each.
And even if that isn't enough, we also have 6 quests implemented in the wilderness. One of them, Kill the Messenger, is very large indeed. So find and play all of our quests and have fun with them!
If you need some help with completing a quest, we have a thread which can answer your question(s) Quest helping forum

We also like if you post errors that you find in these forums, it will allow us to make it even better!:
Error reporting forum

We hope that you all enjoy our mod! We have certainly enjoyed laboring long and hard to bring it to you!

Wow...Good work people! Can't wait to see how its evolved from the first beta, and to play the quests. I'll have to try and find time to do some beta testing, I've been away too long and I'm itching to get back to modding...

When my uni workload actually drops to a sensible amount I'll be back and active; with it being the final year its kinda hectic atm.

(If you're having another reviewfest anytime soon and need a hand, give me a shout...I'm willing, and I'm sure i can find time for at least a few)

Anyway, glad to see that MW is still progressing well :D

Good job team. :)
N, could you please edit my post in Public Downloads to include the links to the new download mirrors?
(Edit the old post rather than creating a new one as some modlists, etc link directly to that post)

EDIT: the old files are still up on ModDB too, under "addons". (4 people downloaded them too) Could you remove these please Haplo?

I placed the link to Moddb in every release post I made. Now only the post in the blog needs the extra link. This was a long night, but I'm glad to see it payed off...

And I have hidden the old beta 1 files that I had hosted on the Nexus back when it was still called TESSource.

Please upload the new version to Planet Elder Scrolls, as this site is very famous among TES modding community and there is still the old version.

Congradulations

Post by Hillbilly Man »

Congragulations, its amazing, and who made that picture at the top of the screen. It looks better than the bloodmoon and tribunal emblems. If a person didn't know better they would think it was an offical expansion pack. Great job to everybody who made it and playtested it.

Trust me guys we know about PES and we're working on it. If they don't reply in 46 minutes though I'm just going to upload it without an FTP thing. Hopefully they can transfer the Hall of Fame status.

Totally not worth it.
Please be patient Haplo. We deserve that HOF status and we can just wait for the old entry to be edited. Also, I just posted a comment on our PES files saying where to find the update.

You're too good Jedak, we testers only did a very small part of the work. But our small work was crucial at a point, so we are glad to know that all of you has appreciated our efforts.

Changing topic, for PES we are still waiting (and people, confused, still download the old files...)...

Maybe he only needs to register the .bsa. ;)
If that is the case: remember that the utility BSAReg that comes with the Map 1 download is 'Morrowind installation path-sensitive', i.e. it will only works if you have Morrowind installed in its standard C:\Program Files\ directory. Otherwise, you will have to edit the Morrowind.ini file manually.

No. It works for me and I never install games in Program Files (I put them in D:\Games\ instead). BSAReg looks up the installation directory in the Windows registry.

However, it will not work if Morrowind is installed in the default dir and you have Windows Vista, because Vista's folder virtualization thingie makes it so that C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Morrowind\Morrowind.ini is "protected" from tampering by applications such as BSAReg.exe... It's a safety measure.
