I would like to claim this.

It seems rather large, and looking over old posts it is mentioned as the Alma Rulas palace. Does it still have this function?

If so I will make it wealthy, valuable stuff in storage etc.

P.S. I know I have an interior claim already, it is finished will submit it tomorrow (can only access TR from work).

It still is Alma Rula's palace. Make it huge and wealthy. Smile

And well guarded. Maybe by Her Hands (clear this with the lore people), so put armour and weapons there accordingly.

Only OoT and game stuff, no NPCs or scriptas, you know the drill.

Granted. Happy modding!

OK, this is a huge interior - I spent last night matching up the exterior.

Anyway, here are my plans for this building. Any issues with this let me know please.

Basements - Storage, slave quarters, kitchens, armoury, servant bedrooms.

Ground floor - Reception hall, Hall of Ministration

1st floor - Banquet hall, private reception room, offices.

2nd floor - Private quarters of Alma Rula, guest bedrooms, dining etc.

3rd floor - Library and study.

4th floor - lounge (leads to exterior balconies)

5th floor - gardens

6th floor - private chapel

How does this sound?

OK, have finished this one. I would be very grateful for some feedback, it is by far the largest interior I have done.

I have two notes in the claim which bleed into one another, I want a script placed on these so only one is ever in place, depending on whether the PC has finished the main quest of Morrowind.

Anyway, let me know how it is.

Cheers.

P.S I added a fireplace to the kitchens in the basement, so I need a chimney to come out of palace from the southernmost corner of the eastern side. Could this be added during detailing please?

Submitting for review. Note the pare of notes that need a script. I will take care of this (if the notes seem appropriate).

You need to use the OoT_old ESM. That should help. The Alma Rula is the "priest" that the Ordinators answer to. EoT is Equipment of Tamriel. I recognize all of those ID's as old OoT ID's so they should be there.

-in hte other room, both goblets flaot.
-room next to the one above, the table is missing. the things that were supose to be ontop of it just flaot.this is probebly cause the cs didnt find the texure

passage
-trhe lights in the bedroom have a very small redius, apearing very dark. this shows a strange glitch in the tileset that makes the floor of the TR_in_MHwall_KL03 look blue. perhaps making the lamp in that part of the room a hiergh raduis would eliminate that problem

I. TESAME: Plugin is clean.

II. Loading: No problems using CS, and in Gameplay.

III. General: No gridsnap.

IV. Main Review.

i. The Dining Hall:
-The small gold chest floats ontop of the ordinator captain's desk.
-In the study room, the chairs bleed into the rugs.
-Treaties of divinity bleed into another treaties copy on the other desk.

ii. Library:
-The potted pland floats ontop of the middle table.-The level 100 lock should be reduced to at least 75, if not 50. The type of content in the chest is not SUPER rare is it?

iii. Passage:
-Not much here to say, just detail a bit and move on.

iv. Private Quarters:
-You used gridsnap here, but why not for the other cells?
-Pot partially bleeds into the floor.

v. Reception Hall:
-The chair near the altars floats.
-It seems illogical to lock level 50 a desk with onyl a copy of sayroni sermons, and some gold and quill. However, if it must be locked, 5 or 10 will do.
-On the same desk, the de candle bleeds.

vi. Servants Quarters:
-Lower the tapestery that covers the tiny room. It doesnt fit.

vii. Tower Chapel:
-No problems here.

viii: Vault:
-Some of the stuff here is uber. Even if locked, trapped, and guarded, this still woudl be easy for a good thief to get his hands on. Take away the daedric and ordinator stuff, maybe leave some ebony and glass to de-uberize it.

V. CONCLUSION: You did a real good job in fixing this. The mistakes here are minor, so this may get passed anyways. The major concern here was gridsnap. I was puzzled on why you used it for some cells, and didnt for others.

FINAL RATING: 9/10

Since when does the priest of the ordinators has a lot of Imperial silverware? I don't know which rules you used (almost) 4 years ago.
BTW is this place public or more private?
I like the idea of the MH benches on teh reception area.

It's a monastery-type place so it's sort of private in a monastery sense but the public are welcome to enter and exit as they wish, and commune with the people there.

I think the idea at the time was to treat this as something like the pope's house - luxurious and flamboyantly rich. The silverware cutlery was used as there is no other de silverware cutlery. I don't remember if there was discussion about this in the past. The bottom floor was public, with a space for delivering sermons etc, while the floors above this were private for the Alma Rula and staff. That was the idea at the time anyway.

This needs to be redone, as it stands I don't think it is very good, especially not good enough to be the manor of the Alma Rula.

a bit about the Alma Rula:
The Alma Rula, while not a member of the House Indoril, is often involved in its politics, usually as a mediator between its factions. He is biased in the Indoril's favor when it comes to inter-house relations, but is most interested in a solution which makes a full out house war as unlikely as possible.

So basically, this is a huge indoril manor for the Temple's Leader. Audience chambers on the lowest levels, everything else is largely undefined.

This interior is not as high priority as necrom, but more so than the map 4 claims. Parts of the design may be salvaged, but overall this needs to be redone so it feels like a palace for someone as important as the Alma Rula.

Claiming! Large indoril interior with offices and public area downstairs first floor grand dinner table servants and retainers upper 2floor third floor library and misc, the fourth floor garden guest rooms and the Alma Rula 5'th floor. Will also contain a basement and a room with a very small shrine up top (6'th floor. The concept is that this is the official house for all Alma Rula(s)
and an important official place. One question though is he indoril (belongs t the faction)

I clearly stated that he is the head of the temple and not a member of house indoril.

I was iffy about granting this to someone with as little experience as you from the start, but asking me if he is a member of the house when I clearly state that he isn't... not granted.

Do a few more simple claims before trying for large ones such as this.

Ok, sorry. I didn't ask if he was a current member just that most ordinators are (as i understand it) drawn from house indoril. I mean most temple members have to be recruited from somewhere and even Nerevar was an Indoril.

I guess I am upto something more difficult now;

I want to stick close to Presh's original plan, with the change that the center of the ground floor and first floor are merged with a great two floor audition hall. de_r furniture, except servants' quarters and kitchen that will be de_p.
Presh used 6 floors, but the exterior could be 7 floors as well, so I want to do 7 floors.
It will be a very rich and well cluttered interior, with refs to the Temple and religion.

I will post an update with floor designations when the outer shell is done.

I still have to to some cluttering and the final touch, then I will post another update (should be somewhere next week)

Can I include two limeware parts and lets say 5-6 Skillbooks? Three skillbooks will be for HandToHand combat as the Alma Rula is master in it.

I am not going to wait any longer for Shapeshiftr, to include a manuscript. So it can be sent to review.

Haplo Edit: Anything below here that mentions High Ordinators is not to be followed; High Ordinators are reserved for Almalexia and the capitol, Mournhold. Only regular Ordinators may be placed in this interior.

Background:

The Alma Rula is a rather shrewd but welcoming man, and he is fond of greens and blues, only the guest rooms are decorated with reds and yellows. He believes in the purity of mind, spirit and body, and adapted his life-style accordingly. He is very fond on all sorts of food and dishes, and wants everything to be properly clean, issuing the rule that every dish and cutlery should be washed thoroughly after use, and before it is used again. Also physically the Alma Rula is very proper, he takes a hot bath every week, and swims in his pool daily. Also the Alma Rula is the first to build a primitive laundry, so that all those work for him as well as himself wear clean clothes at any given moment. He is strict, but very good for his servants, and provides internship to those who live out the city. People love to work for him, as the living and working conditions are very good. On application for work, the servants are interviewed and handpicked by himself. To prevent cruelty and murder in his palace he takes the weapons of each visitor and stores them until they leave. He is a Master in Hand to Hand combat and Unarmored, but provides no training.

He generally lives on the 2nd floor upwards, but comes down for auditions and discussing Temple affairs with the Great Houses (mainly House Indoril). He loves to read and write, another ‘mainland’ Sermons is in the making. He is very pious, strict and straight forward, has great interest in politics, and uses his power to create stability between the Temple and all Houses, tries to strengthen the Temple’s position, and advertises his Ordinators to be far better guards and (Temple) law enforcers than the Imperials, or House guards for that matter.

The plain Ordinators (like the ones in Vivec) have the general Guard duty throughout the ground floor and 1st floor, except from the South Entrance (1-2 guards) and surrounding the Audition room (2-3), which are guarded by High Ordinators. Also the guards in the entrance foyers at the 2nd floor are High Ordinators (2).

Ground and 1st Floor:

Audience Hall: this is the main body in the Palace, it covers both floors between the South and North Entrance. It is used at least once a week, for teachings to the local people/believers. Regularly also plain Ordinators are taught about the Temple doctrine, and the best of them will be hand picked for becoming High Ordinators.

West Entrance: Main entrance for commoners, the West Wing has a weapon storage facility (at entrance) to store weapons of visitors before they enter the rest of the building. Every weapon is numbered and are returned for a modest fee (1 drake for administration) when visitors are leaving. In this way the Alma Rula hopes that people will stop carrying weapons to their visits of the Palace. The west wing also has a Ordinator barracks (High Ordinators), with four beds for sleeping in shifts. Furthermore there is a Shrine room open to the public with cure shrines of St Nerevar, St Olms, St Llothis and St Delyn. Offerings at these shrines are provided by the Alma Rula, for those who cannot afford them. Although visitors are expected to pay to get a blessing from the shrines itself.

South Entrance: Main gate to the Audition room, only used for large public/Ordinator auditions and then the entrance is guarded by High Ordinators.

East Entrance: Main Entrance for guests of the Alma Rula. East Wing has a guest bedroom, a guest lounge and a Meeting/Dining room for House and public temple affairs.

North Entrance: This is the main entrance for personnel, it is also the only gate where you directly can go to the basement levels. It should be locked from the outside.

2nd and 3rd Floor:

The 2nd floor has the Master bedroom, and a Meeting/Dining room for Temple/Ordinance purposes. Furthermore there are two foyers with High Ordinators at the entrances of this level, which register the visitors and do a last body check for weapons.
The 3rd floor is a personal Prayer room with Shrines to St Nerevar, St Olms, St Llothis and St Delyn.

4th, 5th and 6th Floor:

The 4th Floor is a small lounge with a garden and four exits to the balconies.
The 5th floor is a personal extensive library.
The 6th floor is a bathing room with bath-tub for hot water and a pool for cold water.

Basement I Utilities:
It has a large kitchen, personnel/servants’ bedrooms, and large storage room for food and ingredients. The laundry is at the end of the hall.

Basement II Ordinance:
It has two Ordinator Barracks (large barracks for Plain Ordinators, and smaller one for High Ordinators which serve the offices), Ordinator Offices (War (plain), Watch (plain), Doctrine and Ordination (high), and Inquisition (high)). Furthermore there is a vault with foyer.

Extra Windows:

South Entrance: Ground Floor; West wall 2 windows
East wall 2 windows
First Floor; West wall 2 windows
East wall 2 windows

In the end the south entrances ground and first floor should look the same as the West Entrance.
