I think this is (unfortunately) the first revoke under the new rule. If you return and can continue working on this, it will be immediately granted to you again (unless someone else has come in the meantime and finished it up).

looking over the screenshots of this claim, whoever takes it should probably replace the temple with a velothi one. Making a dome in the hlaalu set looks cool but is entirely infeasible for interior makers.

i will add the village of Shargon Mar in it builded on 2 hills, one hill under control of the Redoran, the other under control of the Hlaalu (somewhere around cell: -6, -26) but whole the city will be builded in Hlaarlu style to make it feel that it once was full Hlaalu territory. The rest would be ashland with a ashlander nomades and in the south a bit of a woodland with meaby a little deadric ruin...

You need to be promoted for exteriors before you can be granted a claim. You could even make this claim for your showcase if you so desire (though nothing is stopping anyone else from claiming this in the mean time [though exteriors are moving slower than... something slow])
If you do go that route, know that this claim is entirely hlaalu. There is no redoran influence even remotely around here. Any suggestion otherwise is due to old information.

Granted, but drop the giant dwemer statues. Remember to vertex shade, respect neighbouring claims, respect lore and have fun.
Edit: I copied a few statics from the 4-30 claim I just uploaded for review, in order to make the transition between the two claims nice and smooth.

you should probably look into creative things you can do with the village. i tried to experiment with raising it on velothi blocks (narsis has a hlaalu textured one that i dont think is in tr_data *coffcoff*) and couldnt get it right, but im not exactly a great modder. what matters is that it looks prepared to face an ash storm.
i like what gnomey did, but a lot of its just very conventional.

I'm pretty sure all the Narsis meshes have been in TR_Data for about a dozen updates.

Two of 28 cells completed, perhaps the most detailed cells I'm aiming for as a extended concept of the neighbouring 4-30 claims maziness. I also enabled some ash storms just for the heck of it.

Yes, those are Eyefinity-screens, hence the fisheye occuring on the sides. It looks way better in game and the side monitors are for immersion only.
The rest of the claim will consist of flatter lands to the north, the area outside the town and the town itself, and last but not least the area south of the one in the pics above.

Incredibly messy WIP posted, feel free to witness madness of Sheogorathian magnitude with approx 1000 flying statics over most of my claim. I've textured and vertex shaded texture borders throughout the claim. Final vertexing while dropping said flying objects into their positions later, right now I just needed the correct statics close at hand.
The little village of Ald Something came along nicely, this is what I envisioned an ash storm ridden outpost to look like.
Now sleep.

16 cells more or less completed with landscape, texture, statics and vertex shading. An additional 5 cells from eastneightbour 4-25 edited to make the transition from WG to Ash. Outside people are firing rockets into the sky... Both the misses and the little one is sleeping...
Epic New Years Eve
Edit: Video of the claim WIP. It's recorded in 5040x1050 so it's kinda weird.

Or you could have just read a few posts up.The claim description wrote: Hlaalu Territory. Contains a moderate settlement named Ald Erfoud.
Nemon, I really really love what you've done here. The mazes and chasms in the Ashlands are just perfect.
Only thing I'd mention is that you've kept Gnomey's 'Hlaalu Temple'. If it's to remain a Temple, probably better that it get switched with a Velothi one.

I took a brief tour of Ald Erfoud and removed any temple banners, do I even need a temple there? Is that required? I'd rather not mess too much with the layout of the village since I think it is awesome enough as it is.Bloodthirsty Crustacean wrote: Only thing I'd mention is that you've kept Gnomey's 'Hlaalu Temple'. Or did you mean something else when referring to "Gnomeys Hlaalu Temple"?
Btw, only 6 cells to go.

Banners (unless those specifically advertising the Temple in question) can definitely stay, your use of them is something I personally really like.
I was talking about the building with all the 'platforms' on top and the Vivec statue outside. Gnomey wanted to make a Temple done in the local style, and that was the result. Anyway, I think the general consensus is against non-Velothi Temples, so if you want to keep it a Temple then make it Velothi, or if not then remove the 'dome' and the statue.
Although I'm not informed, I'm sure Dwemer here are fine. They're present everywhere else in Morrowind.

Heh, nice analogy Nemon
@BC, Yeah stupidly I saw the settlement name a while after I made the post, I just didnt have time to edit my previous post.
@Nemon, I took a look at your claim, its coming along really nicely, and I think the cell titled "nemon1234" rocks! (reminds me of Borderlands which Im currently playing)
Dwemer Presence
Im not too sure about the Dwemer presence around this kind of area actaully, Its sort of odd, Kind of pretty being barron , and not overally mountainous. but saying that if you wanted to, you could probably put a 'very small' ruin around (-5, -23). something like e.g:
http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y286/Relinquished_kaos/nemonclaimruin.jpg?t=1262434032
Whatever you decide should be fine, you've got the best judgement on exteriors afterall.

Yeah thanks I'm just asking about stuff since I've been out of the loop recently. In terms of landscaping and that I feel confident enough, but some little things like having a temple statue misplaced alongside misfit banners are my challenges in a way. "Hey this banner looks cool and waves in the wind awesomely", then someone simply points out that "Hey, having a Burger King flag on top of a McDonald's might be a little... off" .RelinQ wrote: @Nemon, I took a look at your claim, its coming along really nicely, and I think the cell titled "nemon1234" rocks! Also, since Tamriel is under Imperial rule, wouldn't a small presence of imperials make sense as well? Or do we have enough forts around? I agree with your idea of this being a barren landscape, which I think Morrowind has too little of, but I need to strike a balance between that and having content.
Dwemer? Imperials? Daedra? Bandit caves? Mines? Ashlander like camps (or are their tents NOT allowed on the mainland)?
Edit: Pics!

There is an imperial fort not too far from here in cell -10,-21. I think that is probably enough for this area. (Although that fort is in the middle of nowhere, which is bad for an imperial fort...)

Dwemer are good. They live everywhere, but mainly where it is more mountainous.Nemon wrote:Dwemer?

Of course.Daedra? Bandit caves? Mines?
There are Ashlanders on the mainland. But if you want a camp larger than 5 or so yurts, you might want to check with a lore guy first.Ashlander like camps (or are their tents NOT allowed on the mainland)?
<insert witty signature here. i might spend time trying to come up with something, but its not like anybody reads these anyway>
i'm down with exactly 1 ashlander camp of the 4 tribes size on the mainland, and if adanorcil disagrees with me im going to guess he thinks there shouldn't be any, not that more than one is fine. what this means is that if you do a major ashlander camp here, you have to have the coolest camp ever.
and everything nomadic says is good.
