Anything new, or are you trying to figure out just how the hell the WG-GL-AL-transitions should be ?

That's proving to be the harder bit of the claim; I did have a bit of work done but then it got cleaned incorrectly, so I'm starting over. I downloaded most of the surrounding claims to match borders and ground textures. That's where I currently am.

New file. Textures should be *mostly* done. Still have to add some variation on the ground for static groups, and add all statics.

Just because I've been looking at all this stuff today, thought I'd note that the north-east corner will be all Ashlands, and that it should probably also be elevated in coordination with 4-23 to get a mountainous region border. Sorry if this is all obvious to you.

The claim's eastern border is all Ashlands now, to match Kiteflyer's claim. I feel like the height should be somewhat low, however, since it's relatively high to the south and higher to the north, this claim adds some variation. A place for people to explore thinking there might be something, and get lost. Not much work done otherwise, but I hope to finish it soon.

Added more statics yesterday and today, trying to get the detail on the roads up to snuff. Having been incredibly busy the past two weeks or so, hopefully I'll have lots of time after my managerial account exam Tuesday to do some modding. I think this is one of the last ashlands claims still in claimed... shame on me!

Finally getting around to wrapping this up. Suggestions or thoughts for the cells with statics in them? Rest of the cells to follow soon. School ends in two weeks. And yes I know the textures for the eastern cells need to be changed.
EDIT: And a well-traveled road! (See how the road is lower than the ground around it? That's a good road!)

Just a little thought on roads. I think I've stuck with 1 "square" wide roads throughout my Armun claims. Not a huge problem at the moment though...

What do you mean by that? One "ground texture-wide" block square thing? If so, I noticed your roads to the south were thinner than mine, and modified mine to match (they're thinner now than they are in the pictures above), although to the north, the roads are wide again, so my one cell of road will likely serve as an in-between for those two differing ends of the Road Wideness Spectrum.

Personally, I much prefer the thinner roads on a universal basis. Wider just looks unnatural in-game, where things look far bigger than in the CS.

Kind of depends on the kind of road, I suppose. If it's more of a trail than an actual road, it's well justified to make such a thin one. In the ashlands I imagine roads aren't usually in a great state, if there are any in the first place.
