here your are... it is a bit of a mess, and it is probably easier to do it all from scratch... But if you find them useful then

Great, thanks.
I really like the model you did for 4, so I'll definitely be adapting that, and chances are that I'll use some of the textures from 1 as well.

I've changed the model slightly to more closely match the concept image, and I've obviously been messing around with the hood texture.
I'm not really happy with it at the moment, the concept art suggests something either chitinous or more leathery.

Nothing new yet, but I should (touch wood) be able to do some more on this at some point this week.

This is a pretty low priority claim, right? If it's urgent, then you would probably be better off giving it to someone who is more consistently present. :P

Personally, I'd be inclined to tone down the deep red on the 'leaves' a bit. In combination with the hooked, claw-like look, it makes them feel a little 'evil', like something you'd expect in Oblivion's Mehrunes Dagon theme park. Maybe a slightly more rusty color and a bit more of a gnarly, shriveled texture?

Make sure you take a look at these two threads, to get a good idea of the other flora for the region, so that it all matches up neatly!

(the links to the original concepts seem to be broken, but there are plenty of screenshots of the final product in those threads)

Maybe try a lighter colour for the currently dark outer layer, and something more vibrant for the inner thing? These forests are supposed to be full of weird alien fungus life after all.

I like the inner part a lot! Not sure about the outer part, you should test it along the other flora we have for the region. You're probably better at judging whether or not it's right than I am though.

I'm a fan of this one. I particularly like how the outside is textured with a detailed texture rather than your average smear that Morrowind often has.

can we maybe stick to the normal system of claims for objects next time? I suppose it'd be a waste to cancel this little project now, but really, the system's there for a reason.

Plants? It's complete, but I think needs refinement textures to fit into the region.

Well my suggestion is we use them first and build a concept cell, and based off that, adjust textures as needed (if at all!) :)

And that's why I think we need a sane concept art with a color palette. Not necessarily detailed art, but the colors - it's basic and building on it, no problems with the selection of textures.

That's some great stuff! I think the top one is my favorite, and I love the broken mushroom tree dipping into the water, having smaller fungi grow on top of it. I will make sure these two scenes in particular makes their way into the final landscape.

Modder hasn't logged in since October, and hasn't updated this claim since the year before that. Revoking. Anyone want to put the finishing touches on this stuff? His files are kind of scattered throughout the thread, but he seems to have done decent work on these.
