Has the fate of Ladrys island been decided? Map 4 still has a little patch of it (bittercoast). If you ask me, nothing of value will be lost if it is axed, but I would be delighted to see some nice idyllic little isles in its stead. Or, if the objects of Tamriel allow it, an interesting underwater landscape that actually rewards exploration?

(4, -17) references to default persistent/unique Ex_Cave_Door_01_Koal should never be used, else it can screw MV_PoorPilgrim quest, better replace it with ex_cave_door_01
(I found this by chance investigating same problem with infernosIslandRevisited.esp, fkoa.esp)

Nemon: Can you check for the newest file now and post it on the thread? NPCing for this map (Teyn and Bodrem) might be able to start very soon, so TF wants to merge interiors into the map.

If you happen to have some time to fix the bugs that have been reported in and around Andothren and Bodrem (not sure if there are any of the latter), the better. Andothren currently has some weirdly intersecting house shells; I assume that any fixes to them might screw up interiors if they are done post merge.

Why on #tamriel brought up the idea of putting some deserted Redoran settlement in the Armun Ash. What do you think of it?

To expand on that a bit, the main reason I'd like to see something like this is because while we're sporting the idea that Redoran has been losing ground and influence to Hlaalu there's hardly any physical evidence of that at all, and it's always seemed sort of odd to me that while the Redoran are all into the Ashlands in vanilla, they have no settlements in the dry ashlands on the mainland.

Seems to me like a reasonable idea.

Perhaps one of the houses in the village can be inhabited by an extremly old Redoran hetman who refused to leave. Kind of like the [url=http://zeldawiki.org/Hidden_Village]"Hidden Village"[/url] from the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

I observed in Kartur we seem to have WG trees, whereas the wilderness around it all has GL trees, and the coast nearby has AI. I believe they date from when the region was a WG clone, but it feels weird. What person in their right mind places West Gash trees in their town when there are much nicer things around?

2) Haplo is currently killing bugs throughout the rest of Heartland (apart from borders to the cut-off parts, which can probably only be fixed upon remerge). THANKS HAPLO!

Haplo is working from a file of Jan 18th, 2013 with version number Map 4.989. While there is a file with a bigger version number around (4.990), apparently that file is older (wut) and I'm hoping that they only differ in merged ints, which we shouldn't bother with right now because they're in the cut-out claims anyway. Notling, if I'm wrong about this, please correct me!

EDIT: Made a diff of the two files. Nothing was lost. (Notling only merged in some ints, but those have been kept.)


3) Eventually someone will need to replace all deprecated TR books by their replacements. Finding them is easy (their names are "deprecated!", and you can filter by name); replacing them should be easy too (the book text tells which book it is replaced by), although somewhat laborious.

4) Two more bugs :P

What are the correct TR_Data object IDs of the following map 4 statics:

They appear in 4-24 and should be replaced.

EDIT: More issues, mostly on the WG deadlands between the TRV and the Armun Ashes. I'm not asking for a redesign of this whole region (it's OK as WG imho, not least because it's rather small), but some detailing will be needed.

I don't think these exist in TR_Data. Possibly over zealous use of custom files that ended up not being added?
