Relatively small NPC claim for Indal'Ruhn, and [mostly] wilderness.

Indal'Ruhn is a small, Hlaalu fishing village in the Thirr River Valley Region. There isn't much written
about it, so feel free to work [almost] whatever creative magic you want on it.

Because this claim is done in a format akin to our pre-Map 4 NPC claims, there is no need to load this up along side Map 4. Only the relevant cells, interior and exterior, are included in the file. Also because of this, you will need to remember to clean out your esp before finishing.

Indal'Ruhn: [2,-28]
228 – Indal'Ruhn – Fisherman's shack
229 – Indal'Ruhn – Hunter's shack. Could offer some low-mid training in huntery skills.
230 – Indal'Ruhn - House with a single resident
231 – Indal'Ruhn – Shack
232 – Indal'Ruhn – General Trader
233 – Indal'Ruhn – Home of the local noble. Optional name is Romalen Manor.
234 – Indal'Ruhn – Shack. Dunmer carpenter sort of thing.
235 – Indal'Ruhn – Shack
236 – Indal'Ruhn – Shack. Fisherman.
237 – Indal'Ruhn – Shack. Fisherman.

General NPC claim notes:

- Unless otherwise stated, interior naming is up to the claimant.
- When placing creatures, please refer to the two following links:

- Remember that the dialogue you write here does not need to be flashy or unique with every NPC. It's fine to not have a specific background entry for every NPC, or not have twenty different latest rumor entries, and so on. We just want generic dialogue and a few quest hooks (Where appropriate). Please refer to the following thread by Why to get a general idea of what we're looking for.

Not at the moment (I'm doing some work on Almas Thirr at the moment; trying to finish placing all its npcs), but I can have an updated file up today or tomorrow.

Seeing how I'm way past the one month update on this, I just wanted to post here to let everyone know that I am currently working edging this claim closer to completion. All in all, I think I should be done with this in a week or two. I've placed all the wilderness creatures and have most of the dialogue typed out in a word document. I just need to edit it a little for style and grammar before putting it in game.

By the way, is there supposed to be an interior for the Dwemer ruin in the south of Indal'Ruhn? There isn't one in the file and Why doesn't mention there being a Dwemer dungeon in his summary post.

Here's my update. All the dialogue has been added, along with wilderness creatures. The only things left to deal with is checking for errors and the matter of the Dwemer ruin without an interior. Either someone can set up a new claim for it, or I could simply block the entrance with debris.

Umm, I'm not actually done with this yet. I would still like to review my dialogue one last time. I can have it ready for review in a day or two, since I have quite a lot of time on my hands this week now that my semester class work is done and I'm still waiting for a reply from some summer jobs I applied to.

Actually, never mind what I said. With this file, everything should be finished here. I reviewed my dialogue, fixed some formatting errors concerning Random greetings and rumors and took care of some floating grass I found while testing.

I also sunk the entrance to that Dwemer ruin into the ground, to make it look like it was covered up with sediment from the river over the years. Not all Dwemer ruins are accessible after thousands of years and it makes sense that access to this one would be blocked off considering the location. Our interior modders also have enough on their plates making Almalexia interiors and Dwemer ints always seem to take forever for people to finish.

Also, even though this file name says clean, it's probably far from it. Tesame brought up a bunch textures marked as modified and I didn't know if these should be cleaned.

Now to get to work making some progress on Almas Thirr! I've been sitting on that claim for far too long. :)

- capitalisation for "Indal'ruhn" not homogeneous : should probably be "Indal'Ruhn" everywhere?
R is capitalised in interior cell names, but not in the Ext cell, and not in dialogue.


- topic "specific place" is referred to by custom dialogue but can't be obtained ---- !actually: the entry exists but has selfdefeating condition (Not cell, Indal'ruhn = 1)
- also typo in said entry (specific place): one too many "the" ("Romalen Manor, *the* Roris Hlallan's trade house and Doval Ralm's house are the three"... )

- Indal'ruhn - TR_hla_guard - is it intended that the guards have the same dialogue and welcoming greeting as the commonry?
more notably, the latest rumour "Pretty much everyone in Indal'ruhn knows Doval Ralm is doing some kind of undercover work for House Hlaalu"... might be surprising coming from them (they being Hlaalu guards)

- TR_m4_Doval Ralm : the forced Goodbye in his greeting can be bypassed by the Disease greeting 4. If that's a problem, his Goodbye greeting could be in Greeting 3 (or 2 behind vampires)

- TR_m4_Stevien Kofken : Maybe NoLore him? his special dialogue implies he is an outsider/traveller, but he has the locals' answers to generic entries. (Our daily lives are demanding... our resident nobility...)

- topic local economy - typo "Most people around here are nearby destitute fisherman," = fishermen
- local economy - is the expression 'card-carrying' appropriate? (I don't mean the reference to the Party so much as the very modern idea of "card")
- Services - typo "Roris Hlallan operates the only tradehouse in the village. Lucky for you, Almas Thirr..." = Luckily?
- latest rumor - "Let me tell you, that Roris Hlallan..." - "Drake" is capitalised? (it's not in vanilla)
- local area - double whitespace "Indal'ruhn is located in the lush * tributary"
- TR_m4_Savyani Romalen - background entry has double whitespace "still be living * in Narsis"
- TR_m4_Stevien Kofken - background entry has double whitespace "villains and rapscallions * throughout"
- TR_m4_Fafni - background entry:
"the Indal'ruhn" : "the" correct?
doppel whitespace, also whitespace before comma - "like most everyone else here in the Indal'ruhn. * Pjrulf *, however"
repetition of "from time to time"? "... Rethil plantation, from time to time. It helps to have a little extra coin from time to time."

Nope, I'm not. Also re: rat's betacomments post: it should be "Indal'ruhn", not "the Indal'ruhn". It was just intended as a single family's fishing housing, nothing special.

Fixed issues from arvis' post and mine, + a few more typos, floaters and the like.

In particular:
- "Indal'Ruhn" interiors de-capitalised to "Indal'ruhn"
- class Guard excluded from entries when necessary; might be better in the long run to make the guards NoLored

(didn't change "card-carrying",
didn't change TR_m4_Doval Ralm 's force-Goodbye greeting, since he'll have to be quest-related)

Had forgotten to replace deprecated books, now done. Read dialogue in CS while I was at it, fixed a few more typos ("That's really is", "my ladyship"->"her ladyship"...)

TR_m4_deadsconce10_i4-227-hla : this activator is not placed anywhere, and is [url=http://tamriel-rebuilt.org/old_forum/viewtopic.php?t=21267&highlight=i4227hla]probably useless but I dunno[/url] so left it in
