Fishing and Ship Assets

Post by sasquatch2o »

Couple things to start this out.

It'd be nice to add a couple long straight rope pieces knotted at ends to allow for various heights and a separated anchor. This could be used to have dropped anchor extend to sea floor. A minor detail but nice touch for underwater exploration. The anchor itself could be used frequently to clutter dock. I suggest 2 anchors, 1 standard metal anchor and 1 primitive version like rope tied around rock or weight in a small net. A primitive anchor can be used be small craft and combined with new larger fishing net models.

Also if possible it would be great to expand the fishing assets we have. So much of Morrowind is coastal or has rivers, lakes and swamps. A variety of fishing assets can be used extensively and could highlight differences in fishing techniques of each area. Some of these assets would have a more a more singular use while others would be more modular and scalable. New scaffolding models might be needed for some setups as well. A couple long thin stick models could suffice for this purpose and would allow scaffolding to be fully modular and have the proper lightweight look. I think adding such assets is important because it will add an important visual element that is missing but highlight food source and fishing methods that characterize each culture and locality were they are used.
