Post by Seneca37 »

Claim type: Interior
Claim ID: TR_i3-793-Imp (#2772)
Faction: Imperial
Parent claim: TR_3-24-Imp (#128)
Claimed by: Ragox
Status: Approved (Progress: 100%)
Local map: Vul interiors Indoril-Thirr
Location: 1:(853, -2417):0
Files: TR_i3-793-Imp_Ragox_1.esp; TR_i3-793-Imp_Ragox_2.esp; TR_i3-793-Imp_Ragox_3.esp; TR_i3-793-Imp_seneca37_1.esp

---

HIGH PRIORITY - Vul building #15 (see local map). (2x3 shell)
Brewer's house: works in the craftmer's hall. While the brewer works with velk nectar, none of it should be present in this interior.

Note: despite the claim's ID the town is Indoril (not Imperial) and uses the Velothi tileset

Claming.

Would consist of 2 floors, as hinted at from the window placement.
I'd also like to add a hatch to the roof on the 2nd floor.

Granting, but wait for Gnomey's input on the trapdoor. Be sure to use de_p_ furniture.

I had actually intended for this to be one floor, but if you make two work I'm fine with it.
I added a ladder to the exterior for roof access, so I think adding a trapdoor would be fairly redundant. That being said, if you still want to include one, go ahead.

Production completed.

I did add the trapdoor, since I think it fits the layout well.
There's also a note which should be filled out during NPCing (see in CS for details).

Gnomey - I have the file - would you like me to add the trap door?

Yes, please do. Sorry for taking so long to reply.

I took a look at this interior. It took me a moment to understand the layout of the place -- for a second I was worried you had mistaken this interior for #13 -- but it checks out. I like your idea for the wife and note, (for NPCers, the note reads "The wife of the brewer who lives here makes fortify personality potions for a few local merchants in order to earn some extra money. [...]"), and the interior looks really nice in general.

TESAME: Clean

Fits exterior: Yes

Northmarker set: Yes
Loading errors: No

Review:
-Lowered Sunlight
-TR_cont_indoril_02_food bleeding into furn_de_tapestry_10
-Applied health to TR_w_cook_knife_00
-Deleted bk_ChangedOnes, bk_ConsolationsOfPrayer, bk_easternprovincesimpartial.... 8 books was quite a lot for a poor brewer who works in the craftmer's hall.
-Locked TR_m3-793_chest at 35 (This brewer sure has a lot of books)
-Deleted ingred_durzog_meat_01. Durzogs are local to Old Mournhold, not Vhul, as far as I know. Local meat can be added later to the cutting board if needed.
-F'ed common_pants_03
-Shrank a few potion bottles
-Sunk apparatus_a_mortar_01 into table a little
-apparatus_a_retort_01 bleeding into desk
-Shrank apparatus_a_retort_01 to fit on desk better
-F'ed tr_misc_stn_bowl_02 into tray
-Shrunk Com_Sack_02_Gold_05 to not bleed into tapestry next to it
-Added inkwell and quill pen on top of desk; goes with the written note

Comments Sometimes I cannot figure out how the Northmarker works the way it does until I simply test it in-game.
I like how you guys call it the Craftmer's Hall where this guy works. Bethesda should have followed in our footsteps.

Overall, nice interior. Quite a bit of books and potions but since he's a brewer he knows how to work with alchemy. And he probably makes decent money if he lives in a two-story home so the TR_books he has seem appropriate. Most of them are cheap any ways, except the Old Man of the Ashlands, which is 80 gold.

Durzogs are not just local to Old Mournhold.

I didn't know where they are local to, which is why I deleted the durzog meat on the cutting board. It's a very minor adjustment any ways.
The final reviewer can add generic meat like nix hound, guar or kwama meat so that the cutting board isn't empty.

I haven't looked at Vul in-game, but there's no second floor for #15 in the local map, and there's also no hatch on the roof in the local map either, for the ladder you have. That's just my guess.

Review:

-TR_cont_indoril_02_food bleeing into tapestry
-tr_misc_stn_platter_01 floating slightly
-misc_de_pot_blue_01 floating a little
-crate_02_bottle05_5 bleeding into tapestry
-Sunk TR_furn_de_p_table_01 since two legs are short
-Rotated misc_com_wood_spoon_01
-misc_com_wood_spoon_01 bleeding into bowl
-furn_de_rug_big_07 bleeding into furn_planter_04

Lower room
-Sunk desk with stuff on it because the back legs were floating
-Shrunk a couple of the potion bottles
-TR_m3-793_sc_list_of_orders bleeding into apparatus_a_retort_01
-shrunk apparatus_a_retort_01 to fit better on table
-Rotated apparatus_a_mortar_01
-apparatus_a_alembic_01 bleeding into tray
-furn_de_cushion_square_05 bleeding into side of wall
-ingred_hackle-lo_leaf_01 bleeding into stone plate
-Locked TR_m3-793_chest_small at 20
-Sunk light_de_candle_09_64 into shelf a little
-Shrunk furn_de_tapestry_10 to 0.97 so flora_bc_grass_02 wouldn't bleed into

Comments Interior makes much more sense, Ragox. Good work. This should be considered the first review, even though the counter says 2. This still needs a final review.

Would a Dunmer, especially within Indorial territory, have the book "Ius, Animal God" (TR_bk_IusAnimalGod)?

Same for the book "Old Man of the Ashlands" (TR_bk_OldManAshlands_WW).

If it's a one-off thing I don't think it matters; exceptions can be interesting.

Exceptions can be interesting, but "Old Man of the Ashlands" would be one hell of an exception. The story of the NPC living there should reflect this imo.

I'd say delete those two books unless you want to associate them with a quest of some sort.

Review: Excellent job with the flora_bc_grass.

Added 4 furn_de_rope_07s -> personal preference

Fixed Door Marker in basement: always be sure that door markers do not intersect with anything. The player (especially if they are levitating) may get stuck.

Removed the 2 books "Ius, Animal God" (TR_bk_IusAnimalGod) and "Old Man of the Ashlands" (TR_bk_OldManAshlands_WW). These really seem inappropriate for a typical Dunmer home.

Also, removed the note TR_m3-793_sc_list_of_orders. If the NPCer or Quester wants a note in here with the list of names of clients for the fortify potions - they can easily add one. (just don't want it in here if it doesn't get done).

Comments NEW ITEMS:

CLOTHING:
TR_m3-793_ring ( with following enchantment)

CONTAINERS:
TR_m3-793_chest (5 Gold, lute, dice, toyguar, paper)
TR_m3-793_chest_small (18 Gold, tr_m3-793_ring)
TR_m3-793_culdem (10 kresh_fiber, 10 green lichen)
TR_m3-793_desk (1 inkwell, quill, 2 TR_misc_potion_01, 3 fort. Personaility bargain, 2 fort. Personality common)

ENCHANTMENT:
TR_m3-793_ring_en: Fortify Fatigue / Constant Effect / Mag: 25
