Well I finally looked around narsis and it is awesome. Really one of the coolest places I have seen. I wish you would get done with it sometime though so it could be merged into map 6.

Anyway I can run around it fine and I have a lowly geforcemx right now. I wish though I had a better card so I could see if the errors I am seeing are actually problems or are just glitches on my card. Have you noticed the entrance causeway makes the player get stuck between the first two sets of towers? The entrances to towers need to be spread out some.

The city is gigantic though so it is good you have ships and stuff there they it would need good roads and shipping to exist at all.

The long bridge that you enter the city along. The passage between the first two sets of towers is too narrow. Or the collision meshes are too wide. Either way if there is ever a quest where you have to have an npc follow you he will get stuck there. If you still do not know what I mean I will post a picture for you.

Actually you are correct to some extent. In that as I did it again I noticed it was less of a problem than I thought however I still recommend you widen the avenue b/c no cart could fit. Here is the picture of it
http://www.angelfire.com/tx5/sxotty/archive/images/problem.JPG

In addition the walkways between the towers looks lovely but it is unusable. I player cannot use the doors without all kinds of contortions.
http://www.angelfire.com/tx5/sxotty/archive/images/badidea.JPG

To fix the above problem you can simply make a flater bridge on the top. Or a flater bridge overall, but if you kept the same shape for the bottom and sides the aethetically pleasing aspect would remain and the walkway itself could be flat. In other words that blue line represents the walkway and it goes flat between doors, but the sides still look pretty.

Anyway it is a great city and I don't mean to be a pain or cause you to make huge changed. I know I was very proud of my claim even though it isn't as grand. I tried to make the natural parts have a character though and was frustrated when many thought I should change things. Though sometimes they were correct. :)

about the first pic i tought the same , that a cart or evenm a rotumbo wouldn't really be able to pass so i tought to move the doors on the other side, for the second i disagree cous eitis possible to catch the door and when going out to be teleported in front of it all without problems, thankyou for ur suggestions tough.....

Well for me to get the door I have to crouch and kinda go up to is side ways. However you are correct in that it is possible to activate it, but it is kind of hard.

Considering that there will not be a whole lot of traffic through the doors and across the bridge I suppose it really doesn't matter.

My wife liked all the gardens too btw :)

I was rooting around the obscure texts part of the Imperial Library and found this reference to a location in Narsis:
Chavana Emalur humble scribe, initiate of the Shrine of the Hidden Saints, Narsis, Morrowind
Maybe there's a Shrine of the Hidden Saints in the Ancient Temple somewhere, Prometheus?

Who are these hidden saints and why do they have a shrine? I've never heard of them so I'm just curious.

I think you can't use the hidden saints. I've never seen anything regarding this, and as such, it can't really be made. Just make it a shrine to one of the less common saints if you have to make it so special.

Did you read where it was discussed earlier?

It wasn't Prom who brought it up and it looks like Nehron has a reference for its existence.

The quote can be found here. It's a page of in-character teasers handed out by Bethesda before the release of Morrowind. This is written at the top of the page:
As we are all well aware, the people who bring us the Elder Scrolls are a talented and creative bunch. Apparently they were very excited about the progress of Morrowind, the third installment of the Elder Scrolls series. Not willing to drop hints and clues as to the direction of the game's development in the conventional way, the designers instead opted to assume a variety of characters, all of whom were assumedly pivotal NPCs in the upcoming game. This page serves as a collection of the havoc they have wrought in the event you missed it.
The scribe from the Shrine of the Hidden Saints was commenting on Hasphat Antabolis' false interpretation of some Dunmeri pronunciation (EDIT: actually, the meaning of some prefixes). I think. There are references to other places on this page, places that should be on Vvardenfell but never made it to the game, so we could disregard this if we wanted. I just thought it deserved a mention.

i have it.
since you don't have terrain raised to final heights and shape, i'll do my side...
say, could i have quite high hills in 9,-54? that means you will have to make them too [a bit] in 9,-53. there is plenty of space there, i just want to make sure you don't plan somethig flat [lowland] there...

well since the south main gate is right close to the border i would evitate to rise high hills , little ones would do better since there is also the river and that coukls cause it to be less wide....

There is something I do not like actually in TR so untill I will see good changes I will stay apart just may be looking .....so do not expect any more activity by me until something will change...I do not want to give longer explanations and not start flaminglike threads, so that's all....
