uh, i noticed that in the redguard book, it spells vivec as "Vivek" (with a K).

what's up with that?

EDIT: it's on page E 40 under the tribunal thing.

What's funny is that before Bethesda had Vivek he was named Vivane.

Before Morrowind, it was even unclear whether Vehk was male or female. Lotsa mystery surrounding this fellow, all cleared up by the end of TES: 3.

TES3 made it VIVEC so it will be vivec. Its bethesda's Solution...

you have to understand different cultures pronounce and spell things different from each other, and the same is true in Tamriel

I figure that "Vivane" and "Vivek" are mispronunciations by the Imperials, similar to the way that the Germans bastardized "Odin" into "Wotan".
