Hey Im new, and heres my first concept art n ideas for TR

Post by SkyGuy »

Hello there, let me start off my saying I have no experience whatsoever with modding, Tamrielic Lore, or even the game.
Ive been so busy downloading mods to enhance my experience, and the rest of my time making my game more stable that I havent had any
time to play much. I plan on trying to get to know every important book in the game to become an expert on tamrielic lore. This will
be a hard for me, but I really want the full province of Morrowind to be released, and I want to help as much as I can. I've provided some concept art that some may find useful and some may find idiotic. The sources for this art are: provided by my old art teacher who was and still is a good friend, my friend Parker Moessener who is a complete RPing freak and has a lot of imagination, drawings by me i was taught to draw by various people or drawing books. or drawings by another good friend of mine, Troy James. Also please excuse my many many many myan typos.

This is what I will be able to provide the TR team with: imagination, concept art, ideas, interior cells(still learining) and making NPC's(still learning a few basics as well) and hopefully soon, an expert on tamrielic lore based on books by bethesda.

Anyway, enogh rambling, heres my concept art.

Of course the guns wouldn't be in the game, (I apoligize for the anime also)I think this make a reasonable excuse to stay in shallow water..

Ok, so a basic mummy. (I have another picture of a slightly more elegant mummy..i'll post it up with some other pics when im done scanning) This thing gained a few defects during the time its been preserved.

A giant tubeworm, when I was about 4 I saw a tube waving back and forth in the water, and i grabbed it, and we had a tugowar thing goin on, and wa few years later when i discovered it was kinda like a worm, I totally freaked out....those things are nasty, imagine if they were this size.

Now I don't know if the wereshark is a part of tamrielic lore, but I just don't find it to scary. I'd much rather be a were-pirahna or something..

A village built around a gargantuan mushroom. The cap of the shroom is big enough to be able to walk around on and encounter a few monsters and treasures, maybe even a cavern leading into the mushroom.

just a random demon thing

Now dont tell me you wouldn't want your char riding on one of these. They could be the best way to travel swiftly through the rivers and seas, avoiding most predators as well. Also what about an island that is really just an abandoned giant turtle shell, with some carcass still in the middle. The flesh acts as soil, so unique plants can grow off of it. It would be a pretty kool island for argonians.

were-insect, anybody? eh? eh? no? no..

you see one of these things walking slowly on the ocean floor, so you jump off your giant sea turtle and swim down. they would be evil, of course.

my version of an imp..

imagine one of these things swinging down from the ceiling of an ancestral tomb. And you were expecting a ghost. :D

You are a victim to a new disease: gillgeerum(random name) that means you have microscopic metal fish swimming in your bloodstream. This causes you to have to enter the water daily. This actually wasn't a request to one of my friends, they drew it out for me and suggested it. Perhaps not robotic fish, but fleshy microscopic ones.

Other ideas: a new disease called Albinism. This causes your hair to go white, your eyes to turn pink, and you become slightly sensitive to sunlight. Albino werewolves would look AWESOME.

a new disease: Hypertrichosis which covers the entirebody with long thick hair.

more ideas and concept art coming as soon as I can scan them and think them up. :)

Keep up the good work guys and I hope i was of some help.

That is some very impressive concept art! Welcome to TR!

Here is the link to the best place for most of your Tamrielic Lore needs:

The Imperial Library: http://til.gamingsource.co.uk

The Official ES forums also have a lore section that is a good source of up-to-date lore.

Also, feel free to ask anyone here any lore related questions through PM or through the Lore Discussion forum. Most of us are very friendly and bite seldom.

We also have a Concept art forum about halfway down that you would probably feel right at home in. Dexter and Spider are also very good concept artists and you can ask them for more info about this.

Enjoy your stay!

hmm... I like the fish you've got as the first picture and also the suspended undead thing. The turtle is intriguing, but personally I'd prefer to see it become some armoured hostile. The others seem slightly out of place. The tubeworm could be good if we're careful about where we put it.
Excellent drawing there :)
Imagine my insult to find that "Raw Glass has no effect on you." I became very huffy at the implication that my intelligence could not be lowered further. Then again, I did just eat a piece of glass.

Nice stuff! It's a pleasure to welcome you to the Project! Concept artists are always welcome, and, judging by this pieces of artwork, you're more than capable. L_G seems to have filled you in nicely; if you have any questions, feel free to PM me. Keep drawing and/or claim a few interiors for map 3.

A pleasure to make your acquaintance! :)

Hey, welcome!

Awesome artwork. If I could draw like that... I would be able to draw like that, I guess. Anyway, those were some pretty cool ideas, too (though the microscopic fishes was a little wierd... but maybe that's just me). Albino werewolves. That would be awesome. Hee hee.

Anyway, so have fun and whatnot.

Hemm.. nice.
Very nice indeed.
If you don't bother with your past history. How do you know where your currently at? It's past what makes us who we are. And who we will be. Ignoring that, is ignoring who we are and where we're going.

Wooooohoo! I feel loved.

The robotic fish thing, was actually my friends idea. he came up to me with that picture and was like "Dude tell me you would not want these to be real so we could put it in our teachers coffee." I just thought you guys might find it unique. Anyway I'm scanning the new pictures tonight..i'll reply here when ive posted them in teh concept art forum.

The suspended dead guy is awsome, but it dosn't make much sense why he'd be suspended... did a spider eat him and left the corpse up there for a necromancer or is it just a necromancer with a very strange sense of humor.

no, it was made by a necromancer who feels the need to freak the living crap out of people :D :D :D

c'mon, GMK, if you were in a dark alley, and that thing popped out at you, would you really waste your time figuring out how it got that way?

oh. your apperently different then me. i would have pooped myself, then curled into afetal position.

but i think that a necromancer wouldnt need a 'a funny sence of humor' for this, because if it hangs from the ceiling it can have the element of surprize, and it can also retreat to a safe distance if need be. a zombie hanging on spiderwebs from the ceiling is much more potent than the ones that stagger towards you.
