This is possibly a very bad idea for my dissertation, but: claim.

Progress will most likely be very slow as I'll only be working on this in my breaks. Hopefully it should stop me going completely insane though. So yeah, don't expect anything fast.

How about an inn in Helnim to replace Heleran's Lodge? I'll also need other people to do the following:

1. Make the exterior for Ansirilosha
2. Create the Telvanni Isles map

Don't worry about taking time. Just remember the one-month update thingy I'm sure Haplo will be jumping on.

And that releasing Map 2 is the priority of the Questing department right now.

Remember to use TR Mainland.esm (name it TR_Mainland.esm, BTW, which should be becoming standard).

Also, can I just check that these quests are not limited to Telvanni members?

Kamrenor isn't a very Dwemer name. It is entirely pronounceable and doesn't have many clashing consonants. Here is a few random syllables thrown together:

Thumngzanch
Hetnutf
Schaznt

Just pick or modify one of these.

It's for a person, not a place. All recorded Dwemer persons had pronounceable names.

I wouldnt say Nbthld, from the dwemer book "Hanging Gardens of Wasten Coridale" is very pronounceable, and that's the name of the author.

It's available to all who can enter the Library. This may be just Telvanni, or it may include those with high intelligence as well. But primarily Telvanni.

I'll do the map for you. It is supposed to be an old map of the Telvanni Isles with a jam stain on it, right? I'll have it for you in the weekend.

I think this map will work. Simply place the dds file in the BookArt\TR\ directory and then the map in the plugin will work, which is called TR_m2_sc_MapTelvannis or something like that. I have no idea how the map looks in-game, but if it looks warped you can alter the width and height in the scroll in the CS.

It will need to go in Data because it contains meshes and textures and graphics etc. presumably.

For now use a placeholder item. (It's only referenced by dialogue right?)

Ok, no worries. I've basically done one of the smaller quests, but still need to test it. This will probably be one hold for about a week since I'm getting close to my deadline and have silly amounts of work to do. Bleh.

Ok, I suck. Hardly any progress made. I've been flat hunting and preparing for my viva, both of which are taking up a stupid amount of time.

I'll see if I can finish off that first quest by Thursday, but after that I'm in Japan for two weeks and then go straight to the induction week for my job as soon as I get back, so will probably not even have access to the forum for those three and a half weeks.

So yeah, I'll request a revoke on Wednesday/Thursday but will try to get a bit done before then.

Finally got some time to finish off the first of these quests. New file uploaded: "Of Books And Glory" is fully implemented and tested. If someone wants to give it a quick run through in game (shouldn't take more than 10 minutes), I'd appreciate an opinion on how difficult it is to find the book. To start the quest, just talk to Riard, who's downstairs in the Telvanni Library.

Really sorry for the hefty delay here.

Anyway, the file was pretty much perfect. Three things:

Topic "Give Me Chores" is both ugly with capitals, and also not unlikely to cause issues with other mods using the 'chores' topic. Move all the dialogue into the vanilla 'chores' topic, I would.

Riard says "admiral" when he means "admirable".

You need to remove the 'QuestID' >= 10 filter on the Manual of Thumngzanch topic for Riard's first entry. Otherwise, he doesn't give it to the player when they first speak to him, and because it is not AddTopic'd, if the player fails to speak to Riard again after leaving (not an unlikely scenario), the player gets no topic and is left with seemingly no options when facing GuyAtInn. Either remove filter, or AddTopic, preferably both.

(There was also a slightly bizaare issue that when I tried to AddTopic via the console, the game insisted the topic did not exist. I have no idea why this would be. Nevertheless, it was still hyperlinked and everything worked fine.)

Otherwise, great, and I am sorry about the delay in what was indeed really just a 20 minute test.

Also, if you could, I'd appreciate it if you could upload the version of the Mainland.esp you're using. That way I can make that the standard verson, and also make fixes to this file if you don't have the time.

Some very minor progress has been made on this claim. Thanks for the review BC - I'll try to get those fixes done when I can.

Off to Japan again tomorrow so don't expect any updates for a few weeks.

Internet is being shit and taking hours to upload. I'll try again later. What do you mean by "standard version"?

'Version in general usage for questers'. Because a while back there were various versions of Mainland flying around and it caused problems with my ImpCult claim when you tried to look at it.
