Claiming:
Ok, here\'s what i have in store for this ten-cell exterior. According to the texture maps, the western region of this claim will be covered by Molag Amur Style mountains, and the Grazeland style lowlands to the east. I might put some velothi tombs in the eastern region (2 or 3) and some caves (again 2 or three)in the western mountainous region. I also might throw in an unmarked daedric or dwemer ruin in some random place, most likely the mountain region. Thats it. It may take time to complete, since ill be putting detials in the claim.

I have a small problem, when playtesting a part of my claim, it doesnt appear on the minimap? what's up with that? only half of it appears. i dont want the whole thing to get screwed up when we put it all together.

Ok, here is my first update. I have shaped most of the westernmost five cells in the claim. The mountainous region. (Cells 27,16 to 27,20). The eastern grazelands area is flat, and unshaped, so i wont be putting screenies for it yet. There are five screenshots of the western regions (one for each cell)
and i want your feedback since this is my first exterior. I want it to be good work, so please resopnd if you can. I want your opinion.

the land looks like you only used raise/lower then smooth. try to flattne it out a tad before smothing, right now it looks like indian burial mounds or something - but i'm glad you tell us about your bprogress in depth so much.

Look at the claims surrounding yours for an idea of the area. Try to see how they textured the terrain and look at how they developed the land with meshes. This should help you decide how your own claim should look. Your claim should flow naturally into the surrounding ones to a certain extent.
welp

Ahhh, I get it. I zoomed the render out to the farthest possible distance, so it seemed that there were multiple squares in the cell. Thanks guys. Please dont revoke my claim. I will redo the landscaping. I promise, though it'll take time.

Once again, when i make my claim, do i create a seperate file or do I open Map 3 and dont set it as an active file so only my mod will appear if i open my mod file? Opening map 3 and doing it there ensure that 100 percent of my mod attaches to the rest. Because I dont want to submit something that has small holes and small infractions when mine is put together with the rest. I want it to exactly match.

I did as Sload asked, but when i opened it as a seperate file, it saved my claim in progress, but it also saved some of the neighboring cells. I probably accidentally changed something in the claim, so I use TESAME to fix it later right?
