Hey guys, I'm back, sorry for being gone so long. Now that it's summer and I'll be less busy, I'll finish this one and come back online more often.

I'll be out of town until the 22nd. I redid one of the statics for a cell and I decided to put an eggmine entrance in. I'm working on placing container flora about in the first cell. I'll post my progress two sundays from now.

Sorry, I'm here and still working on it,(at an extremely slow pace though). If anyone wants to take this one over, they can have it, otherwise I'll continue my work on it.

Edit: The redoing the statics thing was just adding more statics to the cell.

EDIT: I'll try to post again Sunday with my progress. Until then I'll keep working on it.

That's alright. I've found enough motivation to finish this now. Hopefully school won't sap out all of my energy. =)

Update for the week of 9/18/05: Look at previous update. I haven't done that much in the past week, but will start continue working on it today. (Very busy last week.)

Update for 10/11/05:

I'm uploading the updated file. I've completed container flora placement for another cell making the finished cell count 4/9 cells done (excluding vertex shading).

Hopefully I'll be picking up the pace with this claim and maybe return to the other areas around TR besides just my claim. We'll see if my grades permit it.

Update for 10/16/05:

I'm uploading the updated file. (Does anyone know how to get rid of the old files?) That makes 2/3 of the cells done with container flora placement. Just 3 more and I'll be able to start with vertex shading.

Progress on this is now up again. I should have this done pretty soon.

Update for 10/23/05:

I'm uploading the updated file. (Does anyone know how to get rid of the old files?) That makes 7/9 of the cells done with container flora placement. Just 1 more and I'll be able to start with vertex shading.

Huzzah! It's finally ready for review. Since this is my first claim I'm not exactly sure if everything's there or not. I cleaned it with TESAME but I might have missed a few things.

Also, did I have to name my cells? I just left them as "Wilderness".

Edit: "TR_4-5-Red_CommonsNat_5.esp" is the cleaned and complete(hopefully) file. Also, in my absence I've forgotten how to change my claim description. If someone could please remind me so I can change it, it would be appreciated. I'd like to switch it to "Ready for review." and I can't seem to find the button...

Woot got the land pulled. Next I'll start shaping it and matching borders, then applying textures.

Border's mostly matched. I'm gonna match them up with Map 5 next after I texture the cells.

Update: Land shaped, matched borders with Map 5, borders are completely matched now, and land textures are applied. Next I'll start adding statics and fine tuning landscape. I'd say... 50% now. Next update will include an .esp file

Not much progress. Entering the last month of my high school career now and AP Biology and Government are keeping me plenty busy. But summer comes May 17th so if it's not done by then (probably close), I'll hopefully be able to bang it out in two or three days.

I added a little forced pathway and a Velothi tomb in cell (-28,-5), as well as statics to other cells. Bumping progress to 60%

Did a major overhaul of the northern strip. No more interior, but much more done percentage wise. 80%!

No progress on this, I've been busy with Map 3. I've started to split Map 3 up for the detailing stage that is fast approaching. Which takes priority over Map 4.

I opened this up to work on it... but then I decided split Almalexia from Map 3 instead. So I have 3 detailing claims left to split and then I can wrap this 1 or 2 interior-housing claim up.

Hell yeah I love these cells. Updated post above. Picture posted below of one cell that's almost done (needs like 5 more statics or something, not sure yet). The cell with the two secret features has been changed. Secret feature #1 is now hanging down, about to fall into secret feature #2.

Curiosity; what values do you use when vertex shading?

I don't use specific values, I always choose the color specifically from the palette. Usually the lower end of the light/dark color scale on the side of the palette for browns and greens though. The Brown I'm currently using is

R: 107
G: 80
B: 61

Whereas a nice dark green would be...

R: 96
G: 158
B: 84

Sorry I can't help with the specific values, why do you ask?

EDIT - and I might ask a favor of you as well:
Could you check my latest file, go to cell (-28,-6), and see if you have any ideas on how to close off that big exterior cavern? I've been forced to really use the same two pieces over and over again rotated different ways, but I'd rather not finish it that way, and I think I'm going to have trouble closing it off from the inside. Hopefully you might have an insightful suggestion or two.
