Questions First!

Post by CodeMonkey360 »

1. What is a UoFT?
2. How many stories is this building? A topdown view is not that good.
3. How big should the area be?

Thank you. :)

1) no idea
2) here is a better picture: Clicky
3)the bottom floor is probably about 6x6 with the corners chopped out, the second floor 4x4 with corners chopped out and the top floor 3x3. But that's just my rough opinion from looking at the outside. If it looks to big, then make it smaller. Also, you may want to have a look at some of the other interiors of a similar size and compare.

my thought is to make this building, and the other two similar structures nearby, into a large college controlled, or at least heavily influenced, by the temple. the design may include a simple tunnel system linking the three buildings together.

this building would be the class rooms and offices/living quarters for the staff, and would be set up as follows:
-a basement area divided into class rooms.
-the ground floor would consist of a main entry and two large lecture halls.
-the second floor would be administrative offices and a couple of small private rooms belonging to staff members.
-the top floor would have additional rooms for the staff.

Claimy claimy.
I'm thinking along the lines of the Abbey of St. Delyn. Dorms for the monks, chapel, etc, etc.

Loading Errors:

Criticals: None

Clean: Nope, one error

Northmarker: Yes, and is correct

Fits Exterior: One too many windows on the bottom floor, else yes.

Lighting: Ok, but fog density should be 0.5

NPCS/Gridpath: N/A

Logic: None

Lore: None

General:
ID names for the two custom leveled items are in the wrong form, missing the claim ID off the end.

Top floor:
- Two of the statics are not gridsnapped properly, and fixing throws out some of the windows.
- The window on the SE wall is sunk into the wall instead of sitting on it.

Middle floor:
- Instead of having four 'tr_ex_ind_stair03' pieces, you can just scale one to 0.6 and have that; this stops the bleeding that the pieces cause and will make the minimap usable on lower levels. The shrine at thetop will have to be moved back slightly and the other things raised, but that doesn't matter.
- The back wall ofthe same place is made of two seperate wall pieces, but they don't fit together and leave a gap into the void. It'd be better to use three wall peices, with one central and the other two to either side and use pillars to blend them.

Bottom floor:
- The gong is the wrong way round.
- The bedroom door needs a lock.
- The chests in the bedroom all have locks on but have nothing in...add random items togive a feel of uniquness.
- The store room could do with a lamp or lantern in it, rather than just the two candles.

Good to go in when fixed.

Review: -de_p_chest_02_miles is floating and kind of unique. But as it has no script/dialogue modifing it nor unique items in it, I guess it is ok.
-furn_de_p_table_01 is floating.
-tr_misc_stn_jug bleeds to the hook.
-Some pillows deserve a F.
-tr_misc_stn_jug is floating a little.
-tr_misc_stn_plate_04 is floating.

I'm very rusty and will probably regret this, but I want to see this ruddy city finished so claiming.

It'll be, I dunno, a Bosmer house. Lots of raw meat and some plant life. Middle class.

As there's already a TR_i3-80 I assume i'm just editing that (ie deleting everything and starting over) rather than creating a new cell?

In before 'lol n00b'

It's entirely up to you. You can start from scratch if you think it would be easier.

No, you are making a completely new interior. These old Alma ints are no longer of worth and that is why they are being revoked for the new claims. They are old style ints and even then they no longer fit the exterior of Alma.
And that's how you get to Llama School.

Yeah of course, I was just asking if I should reuse the cell that had been created. Not any of the contents, except maybe the Northmarker.

Well, using the cell or creating a new one won't really make any difference. I don't know why you wouldn't just start your own file, but you can use the one from the file above and delete everything if that is how you wish to proceed.

Lol Noob!

It's basically done as of that last update, but i'm not entirely happy with it and want to add some sort of flourish to finish it off.

Review: Unfortunately, I think this one will have to be sent back. There is a 'no com furniture in Almalexia interiors' consensus.

Comments Sorry. It is a nice interior.
