The were beast called him, and he answered. For twenty nights it stalked him. Always watching. Always waiting..

He feared it's wrath, but loved it's strength. The power. The glory. Always watching. Always waiting.

He fled from it, aware of it's nature. But it was too late. He was cursed. Always watching. Always waiting.

He became the beast. The one he feared. The one he reverred. But still he changed. Always watching. Always waiting.

Silver cut through his tender flesh. Blood from his fangs was always dripping. Always watching. Always waiting.

Until the moment of his death. He hid from it. But it was always there. Always watching. Always waiting. Always, in the depths of his being.

Hmm, that is a good poem, it sounds like it would fit in with the spellbooks, but I don't know which spell it would teach...

It could teach destruction...? I made it sound kind of evil, like we'd been doing in class, and to me destruction is the most evil kind of spell.

No, a real spell, not just a skill. Spellbooks teach your character an actual spell. Example: You find a book, pop it open, and you character learns fireball. Most of the spellbooks seem to be going for a poetic type of writing, so I thought this would fit in with those.

Formatting would work better like...

The werebeast called him, and he answered.
For twenty nights it stalked him.
Always watching.
Always waiting.

He feared its wrath, but loved its strength.
The power.
The glory.
Always watching.
Always waiting.

He fled from it, aware of its nature.
But it was too late.
He was cursed.
Always watching.
Always waiting.

He became the beast.
The one he feared.
The one he revered.
But still he changed.
Always watching.
Always waiting.

Silver cut through his tender flesh.
Blood from his fangs was always dripping.
Always watching.
Always waiting.

Until the moment of his death.
He hid from it.
But it was always there.
Always watching.
Always waiting.

Always, in the depths of his being.

Along with some spelling/grammar edits (it's = it is / it has).
