to answer a few questions I've ignored:
I like the vibrant blinding yellow lights you've developed, Pound. Out of the daedra scene, old muted blues, greys/blacks/whites and the yellow seem to really get it for me. I would have initially adapted it with off-green, but that mad shaper Sheogorad seems to have nicked it.

The trim on the skirt, I was initially going for a metal daedric frame around the composition of the outfit.. but it's turned into something of it's own thing. intricate details aren't needing to be specific (unless someone wants to design a repeating border texture), as long as it looks cool

They're gorgeous Lute, the Quagmire Daedra is a real nice design, reminds me of a creature from "Pan's Labyrinth", that was pretty scary stuff.

If you want to induce fear in people, The Legend of Zelda (Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess) had a creature called a redead (a zombie with a wooden mask for a face), if it saw you, its eyes when bright and it let out a scream which paralysed Link in his tracks while the creature slowly aproached to gnaw on his brains. Amazingly tense, especially when you were against a bunch of them.

The mix of sound and loss of control/helplessness or confusion (such as distorted vision/sound) can be good for fear in games I've noticed. If you have those things, then a creature is no longer just another thing to smash in, but something to run from.

Lute I am so jealous, you're style just keeps on developing, and it's so beautiful. And ofcourse the quirky speech bubbles and explanative captions are a great touch. Great work again!

I think if you did an awesome colored piece of quagmire daedra with the caption 'What is it they're saying? Everything you wish you couldn't hear.' ... well, I think it'd definitely look nice on our new website... and in a PR post as well!

I'm still not sure about the china armour, but the scarab warrior is awesome. I love these drawings. I think that for any promo work you should cotinue this style even for inagme murals (which I think is an awesome idea from last page). But please don't loose the first style... it's clean and is useful for modelling. Keep practisisng both.

There is an elderscrolls bestiary at the imperial library. http://www.til.gamingsource.net/ There is also a list on the site somewhere- I dont remember where.

Sexy. The quagmire one really reminds me of the 'Alien' movie promo shots back in the day... with the ghastly critter drooling. The Dune Dweller shot is very interesting as well. I'd love to see more of them, featuring full-body shots and indications of their culture/clothing/weapons.

Do you happen to have them in a much higher resolution on your computer?

hehe, we used the same color scheme for the dunedwelers, but the pics look realy different. ( i am doing a color of the 'dwelers as well atm)

We're often in familiarity with Imperial arrogance and their mispronunciation of names and places: Redguard, Old Mary, Old Ruin, ect.

The manticore, as you may be aware, has been noted by the Cyrodiils as a beast with a man's head, a big cat's body, and a scorpion tail. Locals who have knowledge of this animal are quite aware that it is the mantya khourana.

This beast is a notably ferocious predator. Four Shark-like rows of teeth inhabit it's mouth (and discard, break off and replace much the same as shark's would), and a long quilled broom of a tail for attacking prey. The quills are typical in use, as they are embedded into the skin immediately on striking. Unlike myth, the mantya khourana's quills do not harbour a deadly poison. Rather, you may wish you were envenomed, as the pain is too unbearable for words.

I love the Mantya Khourana!

If the LCE (Lore Creatures Mod) has shown us anything, its that new creatures needn't require solid days (maybe weeks) worth of creating, animating and weighting skeletons to be realistic, as the ones in Oblivion are adaptable to new meshes.

This concept could easily adapt the wolf, lion or boar skeleton, and be made a tad larger than those creatures are in game.

It's my intention to create and establish an art style for every spoken Redguard dialect, dead or living. This way, one would further be able to distinctivly identify certain factions, peoples and subcultures in architecture and ruins (architecture that's gone under constant change, for example, the Sentinel Palace). all of the human figures depicted (save for the plain tall one, that was a practice) are saints these people hold dear, in storytelling and in prayer

I like it, the dunedweller art. Makes me think of the aboriginal art. Maybe you could make some more symbolic dunedweller art. Google the aboriginal to get some ideas, they have some real psycadelical stuff.
