An idea for an Oblivion book which came to me today. What do you think? It is only a start

**********
The Five Fights of Mutak

In early days the wicked Parhei Ita, God of Many-Ugly-Children, roamed the world and spread his many plagues. Being much too ugly and killing too many people, Tu'whacca led other gods and fought him in Old Yokuda. Tu-whacca won, being tricky and knowing Yokuda very well, and banished Parhei Ita back to his horrible home of boredom and symmetry. Parhei Ita didn't like his home, much less being sent back, and so plotted revenge on Yokuda holding the land Tu'whacca loved to blame for his failing.

And so it was that Parhei Ita decided to father five especially ugly children, though all of his children are ugly he wanted new ones far more so, to wreak havoc and spread his plagues. But birds, who fly to strange places and learn all secrets, flew to strange places and learned this secret. The birds told Tava so she knew and she told Morwha, and together they created a plan to defeat these five especially ugly children.

Together they selected eight children not yet born, as eight is a sacred number, and gave to each the ability to take the burden of these battles upon themselves, and granted subtle gifts to help them. So it was the eight children were born in Morning Star and each grew happy and strong. But somehow the worshipers of Parhei Ita learned of the eight children and over time the identities of each one. And so it was that the bad worshipers plotted to kill them all on their fourteenth birthdays.

Kikal, Jera, Lorekai and the one-whose-name-is-forgotten were each killed while they slept. Menara awoke to find the wicked worshipers attacking the village, and died shielding her younger brother from their coward-magicks. Perei Clumsy-Feet escaped the attack and chose flee to the monastery of Serudak-Let. After several clumsy-footed adventures, which is another story, he tripped crossing the High Road through the pass of Heru only half a mile from the monastery and fell to his death. Jasayn fought the worshipers but was not yet sword-trained enough and so died. But Mutak, the last, they never found.

The witch-mother of Mutak's tribe had felt the great destiny placed on him and the growing danger he was in, and secretly sent him away to a secret place that not even the birds knew. So when the wicked worshippers of Parhei Ita came to his village nobody could say where he was and they were all killed. But Mutak was safe in secrecy and learned the sword ways while Parhei Ita spent many years trying to find out where he was. As three years passed Parhei Ita realized that Mutak would learn more sword ways with each day and might defeat his ugly children. So before the eldest was fully grown he set it out onto Yokuda.

It should first be said how Ugly-Leaping Monkey, this first ugly child, came to be. Its mother, a monkey in a forest someplace else, took one look at the baby after gving birth and threw it over her shoulder, being given such a horrible fright. Even animals don't like the ugly. This baby monkey might have died and spared someone else the displeasure of looking at it, but Perhei Ita always finds the ugly children and so he found this baby monkey. He took it under his wing, taught it speech and made it much, much more ugly. And to this baby he attached the first plague of Mutak, the Leaping Sneeze.

(At least that's what's Word said. I couldn't detect any other mistakes).

I'm not strong at Hammerfell mythology but the style of this text seems to fit it very well.

Well, I came up with how four of the fights go. I want to rewrite a large chunk of what I've written. When I get a moment I'll get onto the first three fights. I'm keeping the ending secret Pleased I really need to come up with the fourth fight.
