Kiss me you fool.
Oh I know its easy to replace it with that. Thats why I asked about the boards first. I don't know about anyone else but I never imagined bamboo and Redguards mixing. At least not bamboo as a main building source. I compared it to architecture designs to by other CA's and it just doesn't feel like it fits. The wicker does but bamboo just looks really foreign in comparison. I have no problem drawing it all bamboo.I just initially imagined clay, brick, stone, wood(not too much but some) and lots of leather. Idk those are just my feelings towards it.

Oh, I have a bunch of food pages but I'm gonna wait till I have a final on all of them before posting. I lurvz food.
edit: Mountain golem variation. Might draw a few more. Just finished finals taking a break and then be back with stuff.

Sry had finals. Back now. I'll try to get everything uploaded in the near future. Been also working on modeling. Think I'm going to
go order the student of Lightwave 9. Of all the programs I've used so far its the most efficent for modeling organic things like weapons
and creatures. Its almost like modeling with clay in your hands, or much more so than others. lol. Started basic geometry for the quag
dog with the 30 day trial. Quickly hit 400 vertexes(perlayer) and it wouldn't let me save until I chunked it out. Have a ragada
sword that is very near done, again ran out of points. Here's a pic and my original sketch.

(only problem is that the bone system is buggy so I'll be using max for it)

Wow. I didn't know you were into modelling. Lightwave is a program i haven't seen in about 8 years. The sword looks great so far.

Indeed, that model looks very promising. You'd surprise me even more, if you'd say that you can do textures. If the answer is positive, I love you.

I can texture, need practice though.
edit: Just about finished the model. Need to work more on the handle but other than that its done. Having a harder time chunking it out the more polys I get. Right now Its at 1050 is or a little more. By time its done it will be around 1200. I have the texture almost complete for the blade. Needs tweeking. Post screeny tonight.

love it all the animal candles are especialy nice -- they are cute and a nice little unique flare to the game. the table seems a bit too simple in its construction for me, i'd like some more curves and carvings. but thats just my opinion.

The animal candles are great, but we had some plans from Lute about little essentially Yoku Gnomes, they weren't gnomes, but they were little makettes. Ill see what I can do when I finally get the drivers back from my old harddrive for my scanner.

Those candles remind me of somehing that I found missing in Oblivion: single candles with candle holders, possibly carryable. Morrowind had so many of those models by Oblivion only has the bowl and ordinary candles. I wouldn't mind if *someone* were to make a concept (and/or model) for a candle holder that's something like this:
http://www.blackbearforge.com/images/Candle_holder_1.jpg
Or this:
http://www.brownshomeaccessories.com/imgs/products/A08DCH.jpg
Though it doesn't need to be as ornate as the second one.

I love your work... concept sketches have something beautiful to them, that you cannot compare to a finished drawing. And yours are exeptional.
How do you draw like that? I'm depressed.

*superfluous bow* At your service, my liege.

Door and windows swiped from Myzel I have a crazy idea for an underground/cliff temple that I'm going to finish fleshing out tonight hopefully. The other is a middle class bed with brass corners so one doesn't jab one's self in the knee with sharp wood corners and inscribed designs with semi colorful cotton sheets. 20 Gold. A good deal, just for you, same low price.
Last one completely unrelated. Did an art trade with a friend of mine who wanted her oblivion character drawn.

a temple in a cliff would be perfect for the sword singers, theres a sketch group about them lying around some where if you need inspiration.
also like the bed, perfect i think the composition on the argonian is really nice as well.

Good to hear. I was thinking the incisions might be a little too complex even for middle class.
Either way. Benches. I like them better then the bed personally.

Ok so this was what I meant by an underground temple. It would technically be underground but the entrance would be at the base of a cliff or some such, carved straight into the stone. Color scheme wise it would be some sort of yellowish red stone like antelope canyon.
Not carved by water though. By hand. In the center of the ceiling is a circular skylight. Directly below that is a fountain of whatever deity. In this case I chose Sep. The patterns/motif around the main entrance and around the fountain reflect who that god/goddess is. There are also recesses in the walls for alters, sleeping mats and tables with food for traveling pilgrims. The bowls around the fountain hold incense. Scattered nearby are strange offerings like fresh meat, fish, flowers and those body part amulets. Further out there are those little prayer mats and rugs. Large rectangular colorful drapes are pinned to the ceiling as well.

It's a pretty cool idea. Maybe a detailed drawing of the entrance is also useful.
What kind of function do you imagine these temples would have?

Same function as the vanilla chapels. Place of worship for both good and evil. I'm sure Hammerfell has its necromancers.

But there are many different types of places of worship. Obviously a remote temple like this one can't have the same function as a normal city-based temple. Because then, who would go there?
I can think of two options:
1. It's a place of pilgrimage. That means the temple is on a site that bears some holy significance.
2. It's a place of hermitage, a monastery. Religious enthusiasts or special adepts come here to have spiritual experiences and whatnot.
Both pretty cool functions I'd say.
About necromancy, as far as I know it's not a religion in TES. So it would make no sense for them to have a temple unless they simply took over an abandoned one as a hideout.

Was thinking underground but definitely not remote. Something like this would be built into the cliff-side at the edge of the city. Do we already have a chapel similar to the ones in vanilla only Redguard/Ra Gada? or .. TES 3 had uniquely shaped temples for Morrowind, why not Hammerfell?
In the temple thread, Hem I think it was, thought of a unique remote one in the middle of the desert as a pilgrimage/rest stop sort of deal.
Well that's what I mean. lol. There are a good number of chapels in Cyrodil that are being used by necromancers, not as an official religion no but that's where they're doing their raising the dead stuff. Looted one the other day. Hehe.
Could vary the sizes of these underground dome chambers too. Or could actual exterior structures of the same kind but made rather than carved straight into existing rock.
