Shouldn't it still at least get boat service?

I think it looks a bit too messy. All those wooden poles look quite ugly when seen all together at once. Contrasts a lot with the smooth and powerful appearance of Velothi architecture.

If you do keep the 'threeway bridge', could you change the road coming in from the west so that the main road which then splits is coming in at a straight line heading for the central section?

I'm guessing you're talking about the market stalls. Those were just an idea. Not sure if you've ever been to the Rialto in Venice, but merchants try to bombard tourists with their crap on the bridge.

Yep, those are the ones. I got the idea, I just don't think it looked too great.

I could try it with the ones hanging from the wall. The ones which have no ground support.

Give it a go. It's the poles that make it look so ramshackle.

But! I think Almas Thirr has now reached a sufficient awesomeness quotient that any more suggestions from me gets to the level of micromanagement tweaks which is unhelpful. So I'll try and leave you to it without pestering you! (Though if there's anything obviously awesome that could be added or bad that needs to be changed, I probably won't be able to help myself. ;))

Keep up the good work!

New WIP up. Not much changed, but exterior of Almas Thirr (layout-wise) is finalised, and all doors to the waistworks have been added.

File is dirty.

I'm glad you went with the idea I had in my head for those ropes across buildings and the canal; the lanterns look great.

Do you approve of Almas Thirr? If so, Cath and I can start defining the map for the new interiors.

Did region painting and removed all cell names for unnamed places, to save time later. Also, yay for general progress.

Please have a look at the attached file, while you've been clever filling empty cells I've spent some time merging some work with your last WIP... unknowing about your last weeks major progress... If you want to finish your claim on your own I'll just move these cells north.

Edit; actually I guess you finishing it with the stuff you've already accomplished is better, I'll just use the best cells in 4-13 anyway...
Great progress btw!

Removed all cell names for unnamed places? Did you use EE or did you just delete the cell name in the CS?

Thanks Nemon! I assumed TRV ends in what is A3, as A2 allows for no natural TRV border. A3 could easily transition it into the landscape of Othrensis, due to some mountainous stuff.

Haplo: I used Enchanted Editor. I've just made everything TRV, anything that needs adjusting can be done after remerge, I guess. Just nice to have a file feel so clean, and it'll save you the biggest trouble later on ;)

Done some "major" work on the area near Dondril. Added a big communal farming plot, owned by House Indoril for use by the villagers of Dondril. I could add a second one.

Another one won't harm, so please do. And it's looking very good so far. But the candles in Dondril, could you change those with something that could withstand some wind?

Are there yet any proper plantations, Nethril style, on the Indoril side of the Thirr yet? There should be at least one.

There is a large manor with a guar/velk pen, but I could add one like Nethril if desired.

There should be a prominent councillor in the Thirr Valley, so if there's not yet a suitable abode for one, there should be. (that said, vanilla councillors just lived in regular houses quite often, but then they weren't indorilocrats)

You know, if you want some detailing progress (+ continuity in terms of static usage on both sides of the river), just Ctrl-D a sizeable road area from 4-13 and move it across the river and just rearrange, resize, rotate and place stuff.

Hey Aeven. I just had a chat with Sload, and the following applies to A3 as well as A2.

"east coast should have some [shack] farms, but no plantations"
"but it should also have the estate of the [Indoril] councilor who owns the whole area"

Shack farm just means a shack and some tilled land, not a bunch of shacks. But have that (a shack and some tilled land) multiple times. Just some more information to help flesh out the region to help us implement the Indoril picture we're striving for.
