I was hit with some inspiration this week and decided to throw this proposal together. Some ideas were borrowed from Rat's Almalexia Thieves Guild quest line proposal
This is very much a rough draft, and everything contained in it is open to discussion.

This is all cool. We need more info on what exactly the Skull of Corruption is doing here though.

From Rats' plan, the Skull of Corruption was stolen by the Master Thief. So its initial involvement would be accidental, not a daedric plot.
Re: killing, emphasis should be put on the TG being against it primarily because it's bad for business, and not for moral reasons. The "nobles thieves" BS is fun every now and then but you can't build a faction on it.
