Kallowe's Concept Art

Post by Kallowe »

Here's some very rough concepts I drew up.

I was afraid to ink this one as I'm still not too confident in my inking skills so hopefully it's clear enough.

Ah, nice concepts! I especially like the plants. A lot of them seem like they would fit in very nicely in the Othreleth Woods or one of our other regions.
I like the clarity of your concepts; they look like they'd be easy for modellers to work with.

Thanks! I was sort of curious as to what areas still need concept art so I can get a little bit more direction.

It largely depends on what sort of stuff you can draw.
As far as assets are concerned, I'd say local fauna and flora for our unique regions are currently what we need the most. However, as we're always short on modellers, it will probably take a long time for any concepts to make their way into the game.
If you're good at creating more atmospheric concept art, I think that might actually be what we need most right now; we're trying to establish the feel and character of various Houses and regions at the moment, and, while people like me are willing to write thousands of words in an attempt to do so, at this stage pictures would probably really be more efficient.
