I like making concept art, so I figured I'd collect it here.
As I make more art, I'll update this post with links. Some of these are more developed, and some are only sketches. If you see something interesting, ask and I will flesh them out. Suggestions and ideas welcome.

I like the idea of making small moss-puffs with sporophytes sticking out of them, would be a really charming addition to rocky landscapes such as the Redoran north.
Looks like you have some pretty good knowledge of plants!

I agree with EJRS. The moss would be a great addition to a lot of different regions, especially those with a lot of rainfall. I also really like the weeping fungus. It's a lot different than any of the plants that I have seen. There aren't any that I particularly dislike, either. Nice work!

The first post has been updated with a quick color-in of the weeping mushroom (which I have tentatively named "Weeping Pallia"). Today I added in this:
http://kaziem.deviantart.com/art/Saltstrap-534142648
This is one of my more favorite ideas, which is inspired by the real-life plant welwitschia. I added some potential lore to the concept art. I need a good name for this one; it's currently named "saltstrap."

Added a new set of rough sketches, of various mushrooms, creatures or plants. These, like the last set, are more to catch the imagination than be final ideas. If anyone sees something they like, I can flesh out the idea.

for the spore clumps, considering changing the color from a vibrant green, to more of a white-beige color, or light brown. i've been to the iceland ashlands, no joke, a volcano had errupted in the area only weeks before i arrived, and the areas around it had the most amazing fungus/moss formations, sometimes even more than a foot deep!

the last one is quite nice, illustrating the idea perfectly.
this is a photo of the landscape, and what morrowind as a whole should emote, as it's being constatnly showered with ash, even the soil should be black-grey. one small volcano did this, imagine what a volcano the size of everest could do!

One thing I had considered is that we can make variations on the moss, so that it's grey or red. Personally, I think ruby red moss would be very interesting. We don't have to stick to green!

I like the Ancestor Mushrooms, but I'm wondering whether the older variants wouldn't give a better effect if, rather than outwardly becoming lumpy, only the flesh beneath the skin would become lumpy, so that the skin starts to hang off of it limply and in folds.
Also, I think it would be interesting if Dunmer had the tradition of, when visiting tombs, cutting slits into the surface of the mushrooms to make them appear even more like faces; a slit for each eye, each nostril and the mouth. When taken together with the above point, as those mushroom age and the skin loosens, the slits would start to slip down the face and open up.

I think Kaziem's drawings are much more ideal. My only suggestion is on the lifecycle of the mushroom. Have the "chin attached early then desperate later. The head lifting away from the stalk in a proud posture. Should continue to grow with stalk eventually.wilting overtime and the top of the mushroom shrieking and falling to the side of forward again and decaying. Many once the top separates from stalk gills could be exposed under chin and ring form on stalk. As it is, you seem to have young shrooms with fully open cap then morphing into something fairly dissimilar. Older mushies seem to look as I described.
Also, if used let's not use them in tombs or caves, but as unique fungi found only in new region exteriors. Variety over mashing things into and around overly familiar interiors.

I'm actually thinking that I can combine the ideas previously mentioned-- I imagine the skin of the mushroom as being shiny and wet and loose. As the mushroom ages, the pores develop under the skin (like a morel mushroom). The skin then slumps off, revealing the spores.
Also, a drawing of a different type of mushroom tree.

I like this concept as well, but in my opinion the legs make it look a little too similar to the larger mushroom trees we'll be using in the Othreleth Woods region, so I'd consider trying out a different look for them.

Did some new sketches recently. I'll probably be working on refining a few of these as I get time.
Small friendly things, including some ways to modify the current butterfly model to make it more alien:

A plant:

Small friendly things for land, sky, and sea, plus some sea plants:

More miscellaneous sketches:
Some cave plants, and assorted things:

Misc things such as sea plants:
http://kaziem.deviantart.com/art/Assorted-TR-Sketches-563293326
EDIT: and, I have started in on developing out some of these quick sketches more. Therefore:
Variations on the standard mushroom tree, that could use the vanilla textures:
http://kaziem.deviantart.com/art/Mushroom-Tree-Variants-563317962
Friendly rock crabs. They look just like rocks from the region, but occasionally get up and move. Could be present in a variety of regions. They would use vanilla/tr standard landscape textures for the rock, so they always actually match.
http://kaziem.deviantart.com/art/Rock-Crabs-563317988
Fungus that eats people. Would be scary statics for atmosphere, rather than an actual enemy. Ideally, it shouldn't be too obvious in-game that these weird lumpy fungi used to be people; rather, they should just be unnerving.

The concepts that stood out to me:
Small friendly things: floaty cactus seems interesting; I'm not sure whether I'd prefer it for sea and air, but I'd tend to say sea.
Some cave plants, and assorted things: I like the "sweet potatoes" and veil mushroom. We could use more lichen, but I'd prefer a more alien look to the lettuce lichen.
Variations on the standard mushroom tree: the third design would look really good in a more humid Telvannis region, if one were to exist.
Friendly rock crabs: mudcrabs really are already this, though their camouflage is admittedly ineffective.
Fungus that eats people: I think this idea might either be interesting for underwater areas (captured pearl divers and maybe marine animals?) or caves. Or perhaps both? (very wet places) Finally one deadly denizen of Morrowind that targets NPCs rather than the player. The description makes me think of brinicles.
Variations on standard Netch: I like the second from top right best. Not sure what colours would work best for it. It might work well in the Thirr River Valley and Othreleth. (In which case the current colour scheme would probably work).
Sea Slugs: I almost think these (specifically the purple design) might have more potential as a passive flying creature, perhaps with some modifications. I like the direction the top right design was going in terms of visuals, but prefer the ripply look of the purple design.
Fleshy Leaf Plant: this doesn't look alien to me; maybe more spear-like non-green leaves, in the direction of the Scathecraw, and a more unusual look for the flowers? Might be something for Othreleth, which I think is lacking in underbrush.
Fungi: I like these, though the question is where they would be used; these plants seem the sort that would be region-specific. I'd think along the rivers in the Orethan regions or maybe somewhere in Telvannis.

I haven't gotten time to properly respond to posts, but I'm glad you like the veil mushroom because I just drew it better.
Forgot to finish the scale bit, the mushroom would probably come up to the knees, though it might be interesting if it were tree-sized.

I specifically meant the weeping veil mushroom in that image, as opposed to the 'fringe mushroom'. I do like the fringe, though, but think the mushroom itself could do with a more unusual shape.

My opinions on the plant concepts, in order:
-as before, I like the design of the Weeping Veil. I'm wondering whether it should have an associated lightsource under the veil, like Violet Coprinus, or whether it would look better without. I'm also wondering whether it would look better as a ghoulish pale mushroom, like the Ancestor Mushrooms, or maybe with an orange-y hue as an Othreleth Woods plant.
-for the Dill, I think I like the top-right and bottom-left leaf shapes best. I'm not sure where this plant would work best.
-I've got the same question with this strange shroom. It sort of looks like it might work in dark, damp areas, like the air pockets in grottoes.
-for the Platefungus, I think all of the plates should be horizontal, sort of like floating lily pads. They look like they would work well in wetland, accordingly.
-the palm shroom concept looks like it would be right at home in Alt Orethan, at least as the region is conceptualized here. I'm not sure how practical the design is as far as polycount is concerned, though.
-the "Eye"lettuce looks good, but perhaps too similar to the black lichen plant. Of course, it could simply work as a black lichen variant.
-I really like the plants on this page. The twisted holly leaf looks like it might be the basis of a good idea for some Uld Vraech flora.
-some of these ideas (in particular the algae bubbles and tri-grass) remind me of old ideas I had for Dres regional plants, (unfortunately the image links are now broken), which in my book is always a good thing.
-I like your sea creature, though it seems like it would be about equally painful and rewarding to animate.
