Is it possible to add the simple function to write on letters?
Because in morrowind you can find empty paper and a feather to write. There is just no way to use it...
Also it would be good if you could write notes in your journal.
I know that there is a way to place notes on the local map, but I don`t think that this is really practial.

I don't think this is possible. Otherwise there would already be a plugin that does this :p since it would be the coolest thing ever (well, for me it would )

Thinking about it yes, but it would be a nightmare to make and use since you would have to input each letter from a message box. You would need 3 message boxes for each letter and 255 of these. I'm pretty sure it would go over the script limit.
Not to mention you would have to find someone who can be bothered to do a few 1000 lines of script.
So for all practical purposes no.

Dunno 'bout FPS draining but I have both of 'em (one which allows u to write in your journal and another to write books). And my game lags extremply when in menu mode. Dunno if those mods are the problem though.
