a new surce of concepts ...?

Post by Hermit »

Here's a preview on a game that is surprisingly in tune with TES3 ... anyone got an n-gage? If so, we could use that game as an inspiration for new models and creatures ... just thinking.

Sorry for tripple posting but every time i post i find new stuff about the game and when i edit the previouse post the pictures tend to get screwed up...

Your village has safely remained just out of reach of The War of the Bend’r-mahk, but now danger strikes from another direction. You must save your village from marauders who are but pawns in the struggle to capture Shadowmage Skelos Undriel – a piece in a darker and more sinister game. You’ll journey through rugged terrain, despoiled temples, bandit lairs, and murderous caverns. You’ll fight many foes in your search for the power of the Shadowkeys and the Star Teeth, and your journey will lead you to the Crypt of the Heart where you’ll face the ultimate test.

Shadowmage Skelos Undriel is on the run from Battlemage Jagar Tharn, driven from the heart of Tamriel by Tharn's agents, who are in dogged pursuit. Undriel chooses to flee to the Western Reach, an area in the throes of The War of the Bend'r-mahk between High Rock, Hammerfell and Skyrim. The Shadowmage hides himself in the chaos swirling about Dragonstar. Skelos Undriel then hatches a desperate scheme to collect the Star Teeth sown about the region hoping their power is sufficient to thwart Tharn's agents, and perhaps even destroy the Battlemage himself.

Fascinating ... so we can assume Tharn is still alive and kicking in TR? Wow ... we just found us a villain, I think. :-D

It looks like getting this and the other TES travels games would be a very good idea. Would be a great source for lore and for what other provinces look like, since the graphics look kind of like redguard. Creatures and items would be helped alot.

TES Shadowkey is set around 3E396 forthat "The War of the Bend'r-mahk" is set in that timeperiode and it is set mostly in Hammerfell imo

adding the lore from shadowkey might be a good idea. the other two TES Travel Games don´t have too much in the way of lore. they´re mostly just crawling through dungeons and killing creatures, while Shadowkey really has a huge storyline and lore. the graphics - weapons e.g. - (as i read on the old official forums) are based on daggerfall.

And in comparison to the other 2 Travel Games, (which can be dl´d for any mobile and are fairly small in size) this one will probably cost around 49€ (same as a GBA Game) and is gonna feature better graphics - i´m gonna buy it as soon as it comes out and post some screenshots.....

....aaaand it can be played with multiplayer

Those things in the fourth screenshot appear to be variations of the Alit, and the thing in the screen beside them looks a bit like a Mudcrab.

N-Gage isn't really a proper mobile phone as such, it's really more of a palmtop in capabilities (as far as I'm aware) and size, you wouldn't want one in your trouser pocket, people will think you're very happy all the time...

The Elder Scrolls website has been updated with a few new pieces of artwork for TES Travels - Shadowkey.

http://www.elderscrolls.com/images/downloads/shadowkey02-640x480.jpg

This one seems to be related to the Alit, because it resembles the early Alit concept art in a way.

http://www.elderscrolls.com/images/downloads/shadowkey01-640x480.jpg

This one shows your typical big fantasy spider, with lots of sharp claws.

Also, as a slight bonus, the posters available on that site contain what looks to be like some sort of Cthulu monster. Warning, these images are like 3000x4000. Huge huge huge.
