sofa's are too contemporary, and please dont use these meshes until they are part of OoT, that goes for all meshes, it is TR rule

Thanks for the comment on the rugs, i'll work further on the shrooms when i find the time but latly i have been buzzy today was the first day sinds 2 weeks that i could sit behind my pc for more then 30 minutes and i looked into alpha channels that how i came to make the rugs.
I was also borred with the ingame diversity i have only made 17 rugs but they are mainly to show how you can use the 3 different meshes i made for large rugs small rugs and hallway rugs, if you want a more unique rug browse the web retexture a rug of mine and change the alpha channel and you will have your own rug. don't forget to post the rug first and ask for permition to use it, or let it be added in Oot.

i have been thinking about a rug which would fit over stair but due that all stair meshes ingame differ it will take a while to get rugs for every one of them.
i have been playing around with the "in_c_stair_rich" stairs and this is what i came up with.
I have 9 textures for the rug and the meshes fit on these meshes:
"in_c_stair_rich_pend_01"
"in_c_stair_rich_pend_02"
"in_c_stair_rich_tall_01"
"in_c_stair_rich_tall_02"
"in_c_stairs_rich_ptall_01"
"in_c_stairs_rich_ptall_02"

If you want a rug for a stair model PM me wich stair mesh and i'll try to make it asap but i'm not going to make a rug for every stair unless one is needed. And don't go placing these rugs in "poor people" houses, only nobles and wealthy people could afford something as decadent as a full handwoven rug on their stair(s).

You could arrange a number of rugs and especially some pillows to get something like a sofa...just an idea...Colostriph wrote:I`ll use them for my interiors now. Thanks and good work. There`s one thing, however, that I really would kill to see in TR. Me and hermit where discussing making soffas. If it`s needed, that is.
sofas and couches are too modern. We'd need to have low carpeted tables for lounging or something for that effect.

Have to say that the Asylum Rug pack is superb.
Perfectly acceptable as Chinese and Arabian people have been weaving rugs either by hand or on looms since biblical times.
As for stair carpet, Asylum is quite right - only wealthy people could afford the luxury.
Some years ago I did a lot of local research [specifically in Nottingham UK] and I read that in the 17th and 18th centuries [specifically in the Nottingham area which was rich in sandstone caves] "good housewives" would sprinkle fresh sand on their floors.
As a result of carving all this sand from the rocks it created cave dwellings for the poorest people. It also meant that most cellars in and around Nottingham [those that survive] still have tunnels beneath them where people would be helping themselves to the sand rather than paying a merchant.
Sorry about the social history lesson but gives a flavour of why only the well off could afford carpets and then only the richest would have stair carpets.
