it's very good, very nordicky...if that's a word. The tusks on the buildings are a very good idea, I think we should add mamoths in the northern provinces, and wecould incorporate their bones, tusks and fur into the architecture. Anyways, very interesting concept art.

Now the only thing we need is that big anymal the tusks of which are used at the gate. I was thinking something like Mamooth+LoTR Mumakil. I think it will serve the same purpose as Silt Strider in MW 'coz it's a real pain in the ass to make a normal HUGE monster.

If anyone needs inspiration to armor or weapons, here is a little "realistic" site, where it's just ordinary weapons:

The tusks suppose to be bones from a whales torso, I think.

Just to think realistic:

But dosen't that type of half-open helms cause conflict with the head mesh? Just asking...

Slaughter whale. Invented by Viper.

The whale is found under the Ice around skyrims cold coast.

Ribbs from the whale are used in the gate with tusks.

Compared to the gate drawing, that's got to be one hell of a big whale...

Have you considered the huge FPS decrease that will occur if a creature of that size is inserted into the game?

Ok, sorry, posted this pic in the wrong thread

This is Black Vipers Short Hand Axe, it needs tweaking and the axehead needs to be done again, Black Viper's also making new textures for it, if I'm not mistaken.

While i am VERY busy with school, i got free, so i managed to draw a few pictures... This is my Mammoth (side view)

This is some kind of nordic clothing... (the head from the armor isn't very good)

Thank you for watching.

Have you drawn any influence from the nordic items in the game? Notice that none of them have tusks, thus only a few things should have tusks. Nords aren't from the ice age after all; they had much more advanced technology. While I accept the idea of a Nordic Mamoth Thing being in place of a silt strider.

Then again, a more primitive nordic race living deep in the forests or far from the towns in the plains would be a fine idea...

Maybe the tusks isn't a sign of some kind of ice age civilization, but they just use them because they think their beautifull, or for some sign of power... And btw, the helmet was just the helmet i had drawn before.

Black Viper, remember that mammoths are usually covered in a coat of thick hair.

Yes, ofcourse, i know, comes in the next version. Don't worry 8) And still then, these are just simple drawings... it isn't for the coverpage of the local PCgamer... for that quality you'd be better looking in Uldars' Thread.

Hey BV I think you should add some fur to the elephant, if it lives in the icelands, it'll need insulation.
